I can’t imagine how anyone wouldn’t find proposing banning an entire religious group, offensive lol. That’s literally the textbook definition of discrimination & fear mongering. If you watched the clip, the reporter also says he’d be able to defend his proposed travel ban in court more efficiently if he simply apologized & took those comments back lol.

If you’re proposing to ban an entire religious group (the 2nd largest in the world) because a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of them are radicals — that’s discrimination & fear mongering lol. Proposing to ban an entire religious group, that has core beliefs that are complete opposite of ours and calls for violence is logical. Christianity evolved, Islam didn't, the Quran is on it's way to taking more lives than Mein Kampf did.

Of course not all muslims are terrorists, but a decent enough amount of them are. Look up polls of what British muslims think about gay people. Not a pretty picture.

No, a decent amount of them are not radicals lol. A vast majority of Muslims don’t support radical groups like ISIS & widely disagree with their use of violence in the name of Islam.

The bad thing with some of those middle eastern religions is kids are literally being brainwashed into turning into suicide bombers. Honestly, one day I think we need that whole mentality wiped off of earth before we can ever restore peace around the world. I’m all for someone’s personal religion, just not the fake brainwashing suicide bombing, stoning women to death if caught wearing shorts and executing people over marijuana. If there’s really a god out there, there’s no way “God” could agree on a religion like that. The Sharia Law religion needs to stop one day too.

We have a huge immigration problem and DO NOT need these type of people here. However, I’m not against all Muslims. My doctor is from Syria and I actually feel for some of him and his older family members who finally arrived in the USA after some of their local towns were being taken over by isis. I think we need a more complex background check on people coming over. Obviously letting 2 educated doctors and some of his family over would be a beneficial thing.

The only problem Mexicans really give me are the ones that are illegal but getting free insurance and groceries that I pay for and work my a--- off but don’t have insurance currently myself. That and a lot of people are starting to hire Mexicans to lay stone, masonry work, construction work but under the table for only like 7$ an hour. I’ll give one Mexican credit for only 9$ an hour he told me he would work his a--- off maybe even quicker than me and I’ve been doing it for a while. If racism didn’t exist with some workers around my fathers employment crew I would actually get the guy a job for more than 9 an hour legally. The majority of Mexicans coming over aren’t planning on doing harm at least. The Mexican cartel/ms13 will exist regardless of what trump tries to do.

I consider radical anything that interferes with society's way of life especially in a violent way because their religion says so.

52% of British muslims think homosexuality should be illegal. And according to their religion, that means death. 39% think women should always obey their husbands no matter what, as if they're property. Just because most muslims don't support ISIS doesn't mean they don't have backward views that don't blend with ours and are violent.

Also I'm not for "banning all muslims", but it definitely should be much much stricter than most other groups if they want to get into our country. If you're coming to the United States you have to leave your old way of beliefs behind.

Uhhhh.... the president, Vice President & most of congress essentially believe this too lol. The Vice President supports literally shocking gay people until they they “aren’t gay” anymore lol.

This sounds like U.S. circa 1950s. h---, theres probably still a significant percentage of men that still think this. How men should be the “bread winner” & women should stay at home, cook, clean, take care of the kids. You act like we’re so far removed from these beliefs when we aren’t. Muslims who migrate here have to assimilate to our society. They know that. There’s been a million+ Muslims who’ve migrated to the U.S. from all over the world in the past decade. Do you see mass hysteria about Muslims beating gay people to death in streets? No lol. Because it’s not happening.

The fact that you can be fired from your job for saying "queer" is proof that we have progressed far since the 1950s. And also women on a natural level are more likely to want to stay at home, cook and take care of the kids. Neither ways of life are superior both genders on average play their own role.

Britain has a pretty similar culture to ours when it comes to how groups should be treated. British muslims don't seem to be assimilating to accepting gays, women, Jews, etc.

I never said we haven’t progressed lol I’m saying, we aren’t as far removed from these beliefs as you think. Whether you can be fired for saying “queer” or not, probably depends what state you live in lol which once again, goes to show we aren’t as far removed from these beliefs as you think. Your bit regarding women is besides my point lol. I’m saying American men aren’t exactly a prime example of supporting women independence lol.

The U.S. demographically, is MUCH more diverse than the U.K. The U.S. is a melting pot, a country founded by immigrants & a country where people still hope & strive to live in. Our diversity helps with assimilation & the government does a fairly good job at assisting refugees once here & helping them establish a foundation here. At least they do so better than the U.K. & other European countries where refugees come in & are living in instant poverty, segregated from the rest of the country’s population.
