That's an emotional argument. If you think the immigration system needs overhaul, you should fault Obama for ignoring the issue as well as the Democrats at large for not being willing to meet Trump halfway on this. You can't fault him for following existing laws. As president that's his job, and that's what the American people elected him to do.

Separating a child from their family just because you can is not ok. This is the problem with you guys. Y’all wanna debate complex issues but argue them as if the answer is so black & white. Obviously there are circumstances where a child has to be separated from their family. That should not be the norm though.

"Only under special circumstances" isn't an argument, it's just you defending Obama for doing the exact same thing under the exact same circumstances. Human trafficking is still very much a problem in the world we live in today. It's considered one of the fastest-growing and most lucrative criminal activities worldwide. Apparently you haven't thought through any of these "complex issues."
