    Dream team.

    What makes me uncomfortable about Booker is i feel like nothing in particular sticks out about him. Like, he’s super successful, don’t get me wrong, his academic resume is extensive & more than impressive. Unfortunately though, presidential elections aren’t about qualifications (clearly). Candidates need to have a certain level of star power & I feel like Booker would kind of be brushed to the side as “oh, that other guy.” It’s defintley going to be a packed democratic field though...

    Gorsuch was confirmed 54-45. Neither of these justices would be on the Supreme Court if republicans hadn’t changed senate rules.

    Similar to what Scalia & the conservative Supreme Court did to the voting rights act during his era is exactly what’s going to happen to environmental laws, gun control laws, abortion rights, LGBT rights etc. At least in the Scalia era we had Kennedy while he wasn’t entirely a “moderate” he came through on numerous issues. There is no swing vote anymore.

    Trump lying (per usual) & claiming Kavanaugh was “proven innocent.” He wasn’t proven innocent. He never stood trial.

    So the U.S. government kidnapped these kids from their parents, deported their parents & now are preparing to give these kids to other people. This is totally inhumane.... history books are going to look back on this as such a dark part of our history.
