The definition of a partisan hack. Mitch McConnel would sell his soul for the Republican Party. Till this day, I can’t believe he blackmailed Obama in 2016 from telling the general public about Russian interference before the election. He told Obama if he made any kind of public statement regarding Russian interference, he would paint it as the president trying to play politics & alter the outcome of the election so Obama stayed quiet.

Woah, easy on the McConnel trash talking. I really don’t think he’s as bad as a guy democrats try to make him out to be. If you watch some of his interviews, he’s clearly very educated and actually has some good ideas to benefit our country.

And I wouldn’t call that “blackmailing” against Obama. He was just being honest. Obama would have used that as an excuse to try and scare some trump supporters to vote against him and get more of the 50/50 crowd to vote for Clinton. As well as more people from the ghetto who may not vote, that would have gave them more encouragement to vote.

And you know d--- well Obama would have used the Russian conspiracy just to play politics. It wasn’t his election so there was no reason for him to start throwing conspiracy theories around only to try and get more democratic voters. Obama stayed quiet for a reason. He could have been sued for trying to spread conspiracies, when there wasn’t even any proof of these “hacking” allegations.

If you’re really a political science major, I don’t see how you’re so narrow minded with politics and only want to think your way only. You have to look at both parties perspectives and consequences of what people from either party may say that could hurt elections. Especially when you’re reaching as low as conspiracy theories.

I will say just because of trumps ties to a lot of other countries, money laundering with other countries, etc. That’s fine for me, if you’re just a rich business man because they all do it. But not for a president.

However, I don’t think he should run for president in 2020 because of it. Or there should be some law when you have ties and caught money laundering with foreign countries, that you may be just trying to expand your businesses, money, connections while president. I just feel it’s a little too shady. I would feel more comfortable with a non billionaire/non millionaire being president. Someone who wasn’t inherited millions of dollars so they really will try and help the working (middle class.) And know the struggle growing up. Yeah, I’m fortunate my dad owns a business and we live in a good area, but that doesn’t make me rich or happy. Plus it’s a career field idk if I want the responsibility of taking over and would be more happy finishing my degree in the spring and having a job even if it pays less that I’m happy with.

a) Mitch McConnell has done a tremendous harm to this country. He’s obstructed progress on huge issues like climate change, gun control, healthcare etc. He’s pushed/passed policies into law that overwhelmingly benefit the very rich at the expense of the middle & lower class. He blocked Obama from appointing a SCJ when it is the president’s constitutional authority to nominate SCJs. He’s a classic partisan who would choose party over country 10 times out of 10.

b) for the 100th time, this isn’t a “conspiracy.” This was a real event that happened & which the FBI & all the other intelligence agencies confirmed happened. Obama wanted to do the appropriate thing & warn the American people that Russian intelligence was pushing false information & engaging in other cyber warfare activities to benefit one candidate. That would have been the right thing to do. McConnell, as he usually does, decided to put party before country & forced Obama into silence. What did McConnell get in return? His wife got a nice position in the Trump administration.

I agree that he’s a little too old school and is someone who needs to open up to climate change. There’s worse candidates than him is my point really. Healthcare is a really tricky topic and both parties will be arguing about health care plans for the rest of our lives. There’s pros and cons to multiple health care plans that parties come up with. I’m not educated enough in healthcare to really go into depth. Blocking Obama from appointing a SJC is just his job imo, when we’re talking about potential severe consequences.

b: It was a conspiracy, during that time before the election. And let’s figure with all the illegals that find ways to vote, you never b---- about that. And theres science studies that show a lot of illegals do find a way to vote. Look at it from both sides, as I’ve said previously. That basically equals any illegal voting out to me. And people like wpg who admitted to voting 5 times, when you’re only supposed to vote once.

See, here you are again picking & choosing when you want to care about the constitution & when you don’t lol. It’s the president’s constitutional authority to nominate a SCJ. Obama nominated Merrick Garland & McConnell literally told him to his face, he wasn’t going to hold a senate hearing for his nominee. He literally defied the constitution & started a obstructionist method that will likely continue in the future. He’s a poison.

It wasn’t a conspiracy.... the intelligence community was aware of Russia’s activities before the election. They informed President Obama & he wanted to make the American public aware that a foreign country was trying to meddle in their democratic process. That was 100% the right call to make. McConnell who feared it would further hurt Republicans chances, blocked that announcement from happening.

There is no wide spread voter fraud in the U.S. Illegals can’t vote in U.S. elections. I & several other posters have told you this repeatedly already. Trump’s voting commission that was suppose to find evidence of voter fraud, didn’t find any evidence.

And in conclusion, like I mentioned earlier, I don’t think trump should run in 2020. Too many shady foreign ties that he can use for his own beneficial gain, while he’s in office. The only thing I like about him is sending Military to the boarder and making our boarder more secure. We need to focus on our own citizens and the states with how bad society has gotten the past 15 years. Safer for the military to be here on the boarder than wasting a bunch of money having them raid the Middle East. I’d take a job as a border patrol agent, but my one friend who has his criminal justice degree said they do a polygraph test and asks if you smoked weed the past 5 years and he failed that question so I would too. What a ridiculous question.

I mean I always knew he was a con man and knew he would manipulate the uneducated rednecks at rallies telling them what they wanted to hear then go behind their backs and does what he wants for his own beneficial gain. Did I think he would go to some of the extremes he has during the 2 years so far? No I’ll admit that. I thought maybe giving him a chance as president would possibly chill him out and him start being a positive world influencer for the states. A non politician who became president and would help our citizens. Not just the rich class. And not just to use a lot of your President powers to build more connections with multiple other countries, which he clearly has been. I figured he’d lay low on that and just focus on being a good president for 4 years then back to his business ways. You won there, I’ll give you that. Swizz still lost when I ran him out of the politics threads for about 1.5 years, after trump won the election. Am I having second thoughts now? Absolutely. Just wish the democrats would have chosen Sanders to run against trump. Clinton’s had a bad rep coming into the election that the republicans were obviously going to use and exaggerate to their benefit.

Yeah well he normally tries to bait me into a certain argument he can only play defense on and not actually have a real debate. If he knows I’m f----- up from alcohol, he’ll bait me into something racist. Literally, the only time I drank alcohol in the past like 6 months I go on sxn 80 at almost 3am before bed and was still upset he made fun of my grandfather and I may have said something semi edgy and copped a ban, but I didn’t even read his article into depth and didn’t know they were proven innocent.

Me and slyk are in the talks about me being his assistant. So once I’m a mod either enigma apologizes he made fun of my grandfather saying he wouldn’t like black people when the majority of his family growing up were brown, and he hates racist. Or enigma gets a 24 hour ban.

But I’ll admit, other than trumps strict immigration policies he wants in place that I agree with, he is getting more shady each and every week. A billionaire shouldn’t be allowed running as president imo because they all launder money with foreign countries. You know trump is staying on certain countries good side for his own personal gain, for once his presidency is up. He definitely should have threatened Saudi’s prince for ordering that execution. That’s not the only time Saudi Arabia executed Americans, it happened multiple times just in the past year. He basically admitted he didn’t think he’d win the election, but he trolled enough rednecks and military veterans that ended up voting him in.

Plus Hillary’s campaign was lazy and just went to main cities for the most part thinking that was enough to beat trump. I just don’t see how the democrats didn’t have someone better to run against him. Especially after all the shady s--- that was released with the Clinton emails plus with what happened with her husband. She was already hated by a lot of Americans and untrustworthy. They better bring someone better than Biden running against trump, or trump will win another term. I swear if it’s the f---ing rock vs another celebrity in 2024, I would lose all faith in the future of America. Elections shouldn’t turn into who is the more famous person to vote for. Surprised Trump didn’t give Jimmy Hendrix an award yet.

and yeah Hillary, like most people thought she had it wrapped up, the polls really f----- everything up. If it wasn't for them I bet a lot more people would've gone out and voted, and maybe Hillary would've campaigned in some states that democrats usually win that she ended up losing. She did campaign pretty well in the toss up states if I remember right, but still lost those usually..at least Florida and Ohio. I was surprised she lost Michigan and Wisconsin, and even Minnesota was fairly close.

I dunno who they get in 2020 but it's gotta be someone good and someone who can stand up to Trump, not just back down from him...although they gotta be smart and know when/how to do all that..It's gonna be tough to win in 2020 even though it should be easy, it's gonna be a blood bath.

Well slyk, Michael Myers, Big Dangerous, Koolo, Jet, and me and big cuntry squashed our beef, and they know I wouldn’t abuse mod powers and would actually read into depth over reported comments. I would be straight up and fair. I’m a completely changed and sober person compared to 4 years ago. I don’t troll anymore. Only serious debates for me. I have some other tricks up my sleeve I can’t say here to try and help make this forum grow and not die. People should be allowed to post their own political beliefs or their true view on gun control debates, instead of it always turning into 3 liberals trying to run the newcomers off. One person pm’d me he quit posting because a certain group of people would verbally attack him just because he didn’t agree with everything the democrats want to do. Some things need to change. Guests shouldn’t be scared to sign up because they’re worried their opinion will get them attacked by the grouchy old school bunch of people on here.

And if people want to only beef, they should feel safe uploading videos to create better threads getting the other person to retaliate with a video. People shouldn’t be scared to post videos on a f---ing hip hop forum lol
