    What would he go to jail for? Lol he leaked memos that were his own recollection of the events. That's not illegal.

    He 100% could be impeached. If Paul Ryan wasn't a partisan hack, the impeachment process would have already started.

    It doesnt matter what was in it. If its classified and he released it to a source not authorized to is leaking.

    It's not an official document lol it was his own personal memo. It was his recollection of the conversations that he had with Trump. You keep back peddling; he did nothing wrong lol

    First of all, if you dont want to accept that he leaked information, he also lied under oath



    Secondly, just because they were his own "perosnal memos" doesnt make them his own private documents. He took notes on a confidential meeting, therefore, the information he leaked was confidential

    If he was so sure why didnt he leak it himself.

    They weren't confidential meetings.... one of the meetings took place during a dinner. None of the contents in the memos was classified. You're literally just picking at straws here. Legal experts have already stated Comey did no wrong. Talking with the president doesn't automatically classify a conversation/meeting as "confidential."

    Yes.... we do know what they talked about. Comey extensively discussed that in his testimony. None of it was confidential information.

    An ex-FBI director stating that the president and his administration lied about the reasoning behind his firing is pretty big. Especially when he also suggests that he thinks he was fired because of the ongoing Trump-Russia investigation that he was leading. If Trump was a democrat, there would already be impeachment hearings.

    There are no impeachment hearings because there is nothing to impeach him about. The ex fbi director is lying as already proven. Im sure he also could have been fired for confidential reasons. Comey is just a butthurt liberal

    Obstruction of justice. He literally asked the FBI director to stop an investigation of someone in his cabinet. He repeatedly contacted Comey personally to try to persuade him and get him to pledge loyalty. Then when Comey refused to do that -- he was fired. The sequence of events paints a clear picture and attorneys -- even those who worked on watergate -- have said there's a case for obstruction of justice here.

    There are no impeachment hearings because Paul Ryan will forever put party before country. The GOP literally shut down the government because they didn't want to fund Obama's healthcare legislation. Can you imagine what they'd do if he pulled some s--- like this? There'd be immediate impeachment hearings.

    It was also reported today that Trump is considering firing the special counsel Robert Muller. That would further provide context and support the theory that trump fired Comey because of the Russia-Trump investigation.

    That would be a very, very grave mistake. Hopefully that would be the push we need for impeachment hearings
