I never even heard of him and I don't even know what the story was about... That doesn't negate all the dozens of connections that Team Trump has to Russia and are being investigated for by multiple organisations.

Of course Russia meddled in our election, they've meddled in many of ours and we do the same but on a larger scale. The narrative that Trump specifically colluded with Russia to get elected is the BS part and even a CNN producer is on camera saying its BS and it's for the ratings. I'm not saying Russia didn't interfere, but there's no evidence they had a real effect on the outcome. & Trump didn't collude with them.

I don't like how you're making this out to be typical when it's not. A foreign country meddling in our election on this scale has never happened before 2016. Sure, they've tried in the past but nothing to this magnitude nor have they succeeded like now. You're coming to a conclusion before we even know all the facts. There are multiple ongoing investigations into this matter. We don't know whether Trump specifically colluded. What we do know is Trump instructed multiple intelligence officials to drop the investigation into Flynn and asked them to publicly exonerate his administration. That doesn't paint a pretty picture and raises a lot of questions that still need to be answered before any conclusion is drawn.

As far as the video footage you're talking about, that's footage from James O'Keefe. He's the creator of the planned parenthood footage from a couple years ago that was largely debunked and proven to be edited. He's an ex-con who's been sued numerous times for editing videos and misconstructing the truth. He's not a valid source and nothing that comes from him is valid. Read this:

O'Keefe has built a reputation and it sticks with him. We all know the story of the boy who cried wolf. You can't be looked at as a legitimate reporter if you've been sued numerous times for misleading the truth. Suggesting his methods are "controversial" is an understatement. He's flat out manipulated videos to pursue his own political agenda. I will never believe anything that comes from him. He's tainted his own credibility and he has no one to blame but himself for that.

It's unprofessional and quite frankly unethical. We have freedom of the press in this country and the president has been attacking them all week. It's a bit alarming to say the least: that's how authoritarians like Putin & Hitler came to power. They endlessly bashed, threatened and criticized the media which is exactly what Trump is doing and has been doing. Not only that but the country is already divided, the president is not unifying it by posting crap like that.
