Sep 7, 2019 Shut the f--- up. Every em album has a classic song no1 rappers alive can beat so one em song from revival is better than kanye discography. Beat Believe cmon Stop the mumble go to listen to young thug yall gonna be killed when bme2 drops lmao kamikaze still didnt k--- yall. Play Relapse n----- s--- a classic Encore is 10/10 in production and has 3 bad songs n----- stop hating nobody produces like Dre how is Encore a bad album? n----- Encore s----s on your favorite rapper albums
Sep 7, 2019 I'm all for praising Encore, but it's not better than Kamikaze. I think context is important in deciding that, as Encore was a lot worse than people expected it to be and Kamikaze was way, way better than anyone thought an Eminem album could possibly be in 2018.
Sep 7, 2019 Guys, calm down, take a deep breath. You’re over complicating an uncomplicated situation. Revival is a classic through and through. It’s his best album and it’s not even close. However, I would accept arguments that MMLP2 is up there as well but that’s neither here nor there. People don’t come to his concerts for his old s---, they want that new Revival and 2011-2017 Em features. According to my research the average age of an attendee of Em’s concerts is 15, thus he has the young crowd hooked on his Rubin influenced beats. No one is coming to listen to outdated horror core rap like his first three albums. If they wanted that they would go see Brotha Lynch Hung. Kamikaze was a flop commercially and musically, and even though not everyone has seen the light with Revival; with due time and proper age they will begin to see the masterpiece that it is. Revival has so many layers to it that people haven’t even begun to realize the spiritual influences and that this is arguably Em’s first foray into the gospel/Christian rap scene. Pretty spectacular tbh.
Sep 7, 2019 I’ll definitely agree with you on that Despicable freestyle was a classic and that I do miss his pre album freestyles like that. I’m not a huge fan of the accapella ones. Killshot.. I would rank that amongst the worst of his diss tracks yes, however that doesn’t mean it s----d as Eminem diss tracks should be considered in the GOAT category for diss tracks. That’s where he is at his best imo. I think Killshot was crafted in a way that he could easily outdo himself as I don’t think he was planning on it being the only diss track to come off all those Kamikaze disses. MGK didn’t win the beef imo.. MGK will be forever clowned for the rest of Eminem’s career like the rest of his victims. MGK also buried himself by tricking fans into cheering and sticking up middle fingers to his poster or whatever at a concert not even headlined by MGK.. the Eminem fans there went on social media and roasted / exposed MGK for this and that act alone for me.. = MGK loss MGK didn’t deserve a “The Sauce” and nor should Eminem start with a diss at that level as he wouldn’t be able to top it after. I kind of understand why killshot was the way it is.. he crafted it to be just good enough.. to get him the W
Sep 7, 2019 One man's tweet causes almost 100 pages on a thread and people still say Em is irrelevant lol
Sep 7, 2019 Em should call his next albums like this...Stop with the Re-bs! (no offense against classic revival tho bro)
Sep 7, 2019 I saw this crap. I wish Eminem would bring the full onslaught down on this dude. He’s asking for it.. he already had to turn his insta comments off. Imagine after Eminem disses him.. it’s game over after that.
