Sep 9, 2019 As much as they are c---- for pulling that s---, especially DJ Salad for hyping up a “new” Em song, it birthed one of the greatest sxn80 threads of all time. All the anticipation and buildup to the song’s premier time, JMG, Eddie, and EminemBase called in and got on the air and shouted out sxn80, everyone was cracking jokes in the thread and having a good time, people kept photoshopping that same Eminem picture. Man that s--- was f---ing hilarious. I have never laughed so hard on an Internet forum than I did that day. As soon as Salad hit the play button, all of us realized at the exact same moment that they were not playing a new song. Instead they were re-playing the f---ing Trump freestyle. The disappointment and meltdown from everyone was amazing. What a moment for the Eminem sxn. Does anyone have a link to that s---?

Sep 9, 2019 I remember the morning I woke up when Kamikaze had dropped. Em had tweeted a teaser for Venom so everyone was speculating a new song would drop that night. Since I had work the next morning I went to bed pretty early. I woke up, got ready for work and then checked Eminem's Spotify page to see if the Venom song had released. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on it to see an album called Kamikaze with 13 songs. I thought I hadn't woke up properly and was seeing s---. Went to Em's Twitter and here and saw what was going down. Was definitely a great move dropping it out of nowhere. Saying that, as cool as it is dropping an album out of the blue, the speculation and wait of getting the cover, singles, tracklist, tv appearances, I much prefer the rollout wait and speculation of what everything means. Although I do see why he didn't do it for Kamikaze. Hopefully another project is in the making.

The long wait and build up over several months, finding out the title and cover art work and tracklist is the main reason why everyone completely overhypes the album and is disappointed with the actual product. I mean half of this forum see the tracklist and then make up their own ideas of what each song is gonna be like just by seeing its title lol then when it’s released it’s obviously no where near what they imagined and the disappointment begins. A surprise release was long overdue.

Sep 9, 2019 Brainless to me is one where he sounded very good. Same with Evil Twin. It was only the bland beat that made Evil Twin not get the kudos it deserved. Going Through Changes final verse is outstanding. End part of Bad Guy, great. I definitely think his voice is too regular now, he doesn't layer it and double it up which makes it sound bland and less powerful. I also agree that he focuses on speed rap too much. I don't expect him to be as emotive nowadays as he was at the beginning of his career. Making rap music for about two decades can't be easy to maintain emotion. It's an inevitability that it gets stale, hence leading him to have a less emotive and indifferent sounding voice. It might be that he is so secluded, so mentally weary that he has reached a point where he literally cannot summon emotion like he did. I guess an interesting judgement will be when the ADHD song is released. Lucas said it at the quality level of Stan. Hard to even contemplate that being the case, but you never know.
Sep 9, 2019 Excuse me lol Evil Twin beat is f---ing perfect. Was soooo good to hear him rap on something like that. The one thing that brings the song down is the length of the last verse where he starts going off course about Koala’s n s---.
