Oct 31, 2019 Man I thought the flow s----d, Very choppy and broken up.. sounds forced. Hopefully he sticks with his Kamikaze flow, I really hope he doesn’t use this flow anymore. His verse comes off more as a poem.. I just want the guy to flow and rap.. like he used to. I would k--- for a 2 minute straight spit freestyle hype track like he used to drop.. d--- This song was a one time play for me.. not because of subject matter either but that’s a part of it too.. I have zero interest in listening to that s--- really can’t relate personally. But it’s because of his flow and delivery.. zero replay value for me. A fan since the beginning.

Nov 1, 2019 That track sounds mixed. Esp on EMs verse. Theres definitely some tube compression on his vocals. Joyners vocals are also mixed. Unless ppl are refering to the beat. The beat could be a skeleton I suppose? It reminds me of a beat 40 would produce for drake bc its virtually wiped all of the low end out of it. With a high pass filter. As far as the track being done tho? Idk I feel like it's missing something. It's obviously a concept song (I love how almost 75 percent of what EM raps about is hypothetical, generalizing, just bar flexing. Unless hes rapping about rap itself, or his past and current place in the genre) but he does this obvious concept song and ppl are like "OMG HES GAY?!?!" Unless ppl are just being smartasses. But anyway I have no idea why EM did this song. I mean I get it his daughter whitney is gay or bi or whatever, or the topic could get him publicity, but he knows his image, its gonna get him clowned. So for him to do a story song like this I feel like elements of the song are missing. Like this is their refrence for it maybe. Reading interviews from eminems engineer i know EM is so picky about his vocal mixing(regardless of criticism on the mixing at times) he gets them how he wants with some help. So i know Joyner wouldnt ever recieve EMs verse with un mixed vocals. I can't remember if it was Royce, sean, maybe naasan idk someone said EM doesnt show works in progress and he doesnt wanna hear them either. So those vocals are mixed. The beat idk. I'm not good at mixing instruments and beat stems but I know vocal mixing

Listen to his no favors verse, listen to the beginning and slower parts, how warm and upfront his upper mid freq of his voice are. That's the sound tube compression can get, or different saturations. I love that on vocals personally
