Of course, the trump thing, the fact that he was away for too long that it almost felt like the ssecond hiatus and he came back with a beatless track that is barely considered rap today (bcause it didn't have trap beat lol) sure people were gonna bash him and have bad opinions. And seeing all the pop stars on features didn't help neither. I can see the reason behind the prejudgements for Revival but it's obvious that people slept on it. First of all, the album had one of the greatest starts to an Em album ever. Walk on Water and Believe after that?! That's 10/10 songs back to back and the first time he actually does that since he came back... I'd say Chloraseptic is pretty good too. Also, the album had the best Em album ending ever with Castle & Arose ( I'd personally add In Your head too but whatever) There are like 3 songs you might easily put top 10 Em songs ever on that album and that should account for something. Plus, except few songs I still think the album had its' own good vibe which I dig. If anything I'm listenin' to Believe more than Kamikaze songs nowadays...

Nov 21, 2019 i'm not saying the whole album is bad. walk on water, believe, framed, arose etc. are great tracks. my problem with revival is that it doesnt sound like an real album. i mean he said it himselfe. he wanted to create something for everyone but that is revivals biggest problem. it sounds like he just put one or two tracks from every era togehter and put it out
