Nov 24, 2019 I dont think thats the problem of the album. Tbh I think he executed nicely the tracks given the concept. I mean Framed would be one of the best tracks if it was on relapse. The recovery type tracks were sounded more mature as tracks th9an just pop singles just for the f--- of it. The new trap theme was also great with believe and chloraseptic. The weaker songs was the rick rubin ones (minus arose and wow) but that type was never really appreciated by fans.. So long story short, he spent 4 years to release revival being insecure as f--- when people judged his verses between that time esp on shady xv and southpaw and tried to bring up a little bit for everyone witch caused the album to feel like all over the place instead of focusing doing whatever he is feeling to do like he did on kamikaze
Nov 24, 2019 The sonic appeal is what makes a song. Everything else follows afterwards. No song sounded as good as Rhyme or Reason on Revival. I enjoy WoW in that regard, but even that's an unpopular opinion, so idk
