Dec 4, 2019 People are talking about Em like it's really cringey to be a fan of his, right now in 2019 more than ever before. Why tf would that be? Kamikaze improved his legacy from where it was after Revival and his most recent activity as far as most people would say was dissing MGK. If Revival was his most recent album I could understand thinking Em is wack, but everyone seemed to be on his side after Kamikaze for a while (average people - not critics). Wtf happened in the last nine months to make him old and wack again? Or am I crazy and nothing's actually changed?
Dec 4, 2019 It’s funny I was thinking about this too. Like, if I was Em and say I just got done laying something new for the 2019 or 2020 album, I would honestly sit there and be like: “f---. What exactly do these motherfuckas want” I mean you hear something like “The Ringer”, “Not Alike”, “Lucky you”, “Chloraseptic (Remix)”, “Caterpillar”, and yes the “Homicide” verses and those objectively (Yes, objectively) Rap wise are great verses. h--- throw in “Fall” too. And yet...... These people are STILL questioning s---. I honestly don’t know how he deals with it. “Walk on Water” 3rd verse was prolific when you really think about it “And everyone who has doubt, remind Now take your best rhyme, outdo it, now do it a thousand times Now let 'em tell ya the world no longer cares or gives a f--- about your rhymes” Like s---. Lol. Can’t do enough for nobody. Might as well say f--- it. Lol
Dec 4, 2019 So true. And I never got the hate for WOW. That song is amazing. The first two songs and last 3 songs of Revival could have made a classic album. Too bad the middle was so meh.

I see so many people talk about flows from 20 years ago....most of his flows back then were so godamn basic. they may of been "effortless" but that's bc they didn't require effort. ppl say hes off beat really don't hear the nuances in the beat where his syllables are bouncing from, or see the full construction of his schemes and tying everything together. or maybe some do but just don't like it idk, but ill always be here for ppl that are technicians. or when people said majesty was ehhhhh.
