Dec 28, 2019 He is good but half of his production has drumkits very similar to I need a doctor. Don't get me wrong he is overrated but I can see why people like his production. Sometimes he can be dope while being unique but that's not the case all the time. As for him as an artist, that's weird. People act as if his s--- is dope but I doubt people really listen to most of it. Mostly talking about his work after yeezus.

Dec 28, 2019 I hate that beat, it sounds like they put a high pass filter over thee entire mid range of the beat lol. song topic was just true, he was riddled with self doubt. im sure detox sounds like that. had way too many writers and too many producers. Compton is f---ing crazy, such a shame it didn't get the praise it deserved.
Dec 28, 2019 Can't really recall Wolves production rn but will check it out soon. Real Friends was pretty good. Jesus Walks was the s---. But I think I'm being clear with his earlier work. He was never the Dre and Storch level to me but his earlier work was something special for sure. He just went trash after Yeezus musically and his downfall as a producer also started. TLOP was that trasition phase, Ye, Kids See Ghosts specially that last Jesus s--- was wack and boring even on production level.

Dec 28, 2019 Only one of them are from Kanye album which proves my point about his latest work being wack as f---. As for his production sure, those are better than INAD beat but his drumkits are still dull and weak to my ears most of the time, plus, his beats are not always as captive as If You Know You Know beat. If you can't hear the quality difference between the drumkits of Dre and Kanye then you need a doctor. Compare the clear sound of 2001 to any Kanye beat... I mean it's also about my personal taste but there is a f---in' quality difference. Some people hear it some don't so whatever. Btw, just to make it clear, those beats you shared are good but he had 3-4 times as much beats recently. And when I listen to those back to back they are really boring after some point.
Dec 28, 2019 I’m not even sure why we’re comparing Em to Ye as a producer lol it’s not close. Not just the beats but Kanye’s song structures and ideas are uncanny. BUT I think Em is an underrated producer, he made some classics back in the day. I remember Fab saying he wanted a beat from Em so bad. I think that would’ve been a dope combo.
