Jan 14, 2020 Check it, with Joe kissing his a--- now, and they’ve probably squashed it, if Joe showed up on Ems albums with no announcement, and they ended up going bar for bar it would be the most genius thing ever from a marketing standpoint. Would have everyone talking about the song and album. And I’m sure if it’s squashed Em could get Joe back on a song. Would be the best promo route for his album than he’s ever had.

Jan 14, 2020 I'm not sure if people would care about Budden on Em's album. Sure some hip hop heads would but that won't make a difference as far as the marketing goes. Mainstream don't know Budden and they don't care small people like Budden unless Em disses them lol. He could have done it with Skylar or Rihanna or any other female musician he worked with in the last decade but unfortunately he is not. A song like Superman would have been a classic. That song has 10/10 beat plus it had great vocals, flows etc. On the other hand, we almost got 10 times more female features by Em in the last decade compared to pre hiatus era but all the songs had were generic rap flows over meh beats with a female pop hook stuck in between verses. Boring as f---.
Jan 14, 2020 In "Nice Guy" and "Good Guy" with Jessie Reyez he tried something different though. I'm not sure if that was the right direction because I always skip "Nice Guy". It's the only track I dislike on Kamikaze.

Jan 14, 2020 You’re underestimating the reaction video culture. Especially Joe being apart of that. The hundreds of reaction video channels that get hundreds of thousands of views or more that contribute to streaming, that are also aware of his beef with Budden, and just off the heals of all the Nick stuff. It would be perfect marketing. Joes music might be for old heads like us but the main stream includes the reaction culture. Joe and Em going bar for bar on a song would create ALOT of buzz. Just saying.
