Jan 15, 2020 Joe's growth in popularity has soared since hes went to media. His podcast I believe is still the number 2 music podcast on spotify and in the top 5 overall. Budden is very much main stream right now. And as far as music, he always had a cult following, then slaughterhouse helper him aswell. He was always the most popular or 2nd popular in the group....you said it only fools US citizens and hes not mainstream...might be how I took your wording, but if you're outside of the US, that might be why you dont realize how big of a deal he is. Yeah EM is on pop star level of popularity and recognition so hes international af and always will be, but just bc someone isnt pop star level doesnt mean they're not a big deal. Hip hop is still very much a US based thing. Its transended to every country but if something here in the states is big in hip hop, then that means it's a big deal in hip hop period. Joe has evolved into being a voice in the hip hop community and has a pretty high sitting platform.
Jan 15, 2020 Not everything you dont pay attention to is irrelevant. Unless you're only the type of person to pay attention to things that only involve eminem.
Jan 15, 2020 Lol. No I pay attention to many things but podcasts are not one of them. This means nothing. Give me the numbers ? How many people listen to a podcast by Budden ? 500k ? A million ? Still not big. It is irrelevant unless you think US is the only country exists...
Jan 15, 2020 Well let's see....spotify is the number one subscription service for streaming.... unless you live under a rock youd know podcast are outlandishly popular now....and joe buddens podcast is the 4th most listened to podcast on all of spotify currently, and the number one music based podcast in the service.....in 2019 for the whole year it was number 1....and spotify has 500 thousand different podcasts. So number 1 out of 500 thousand. 3 hours an episode twice a week.....you dont pay attention to podcast so that automatically takes you out of this conversation of knowing what's irrelevant lol. Reaction channels and podcasts are a huge medium now. Esp the joe rogan podcast. Where everyone from presidential candidates to athletes go on there. Budden has a very impactful voice and platform in hip hop now. Even EM acknowledged that by talking about buddens media platform. That's why Em started talking about reaction channels and podcasts personalities. You're just not in the country where the culture is created and in full force of presence so you dont see it all. But there's also plenty of fans on this site thatbarent in the US that know buddens podcast is a huge thing.
Jan 15, 2020 @CSA and also, 18 months after budden left everyday struggle his podcast views on youtube were doing 15 mil a month And the YouTube videos get posted 2 days AFTER the spotify stream. So yeah that's alot. Esp considering they're 3 hour episodes. Numbers for podcasts arent gonna be in the same field as music streams and views. So getting those numbers when he started it up was alot

Jan 16, 2020 Okk so theres a track on Royce album called Perspective. Its actually a skit of Eminem talking about his perspective on white and black people in rap and culture overall.
Jan 16, 2020 Really? When I first heard the song I was like ugh another rappity rap verse when he started w that Bin Laden stuff and then; Back and forth, back and forth Like Jack Kevorkian's a-s in court Rap mature, why can't you be like Macklemore? Huh? Why you always gotta smack a w---e? It's likely the psychiatric ward's a last resort Something's gotta give, that's for sure.. And everything after if.. never been so pleasantly surprised w hearing a new em verse since airplanes I think
