Sep 3, 2019 Yeah it's not Em. It's Conway. His album is droppin this month but I'm sure we're gonna hear another song with Em from him.
Sep 3, 2019 I wanna hear Em spit some early 2000s gangster s---. Like soldier or till i collapse or words are weapons on a hood b-----r with Griselda.
Sep 3, 2019 everybody wants that, but it ain't happening, coz Em is soft nowadays, see what happens with b---, he turned that perfect street beat into a wack trap beat like noone else could have done it.
Sep 3, 2019 You're @TheDarkView ooooh my God, you've made another account 3 days after we ran you off. That's why you came at me bitching about that thread I made S80 vs. Darkview. Oh my what have you got yourself into. You're going down again
Sep 3, 2019 off topic: yesterday i watched a video about what happend with Llyod Banks. Then i thought, dayum i always like it when he goes wild on a beat with his unique voice. Then i saw how much mixtapes he released but no one is talking about him, me included. So my question, is he underrated?
Sep 3, 2019 With all the talk about Em not being relevant in hiphop he'll probably come back swinging...ppl gangin up now ha
Sep 3, 2019 Hes been pretty adamant on Twitter for a while saying hes retired. Imo, him and Royce have the best mixtapes. V6 is crazy, as well as the cold corners. Alot of Halloween havoc are crazy as well. Banks hates the public eye. He hates doing press runs, the interviews and everything to do with putting an album out, so that's why he has so many mixtapes. He never capitalized on his potential. 50 should of pushed him more. 50s biggest argument with yayo, banks and buck is that they never did anything on their own unless 50 set it up for them. Prodigy confirmed that in his book as well. He talked pretty candidly about a meeting 50 had with United records. Banks is criminally under rated. But alot of that is due to his own actions. Sadly, a large percent of consumers will never listen to someone unless the artist is put infront of their face. BUT when an artist is put infront of their face its typically the radio single that is put infront of them. So if they dont like the single, they wont look into the album. That cycle f---s alot of artist. Imo NO RAPPERS best work is their singles. I think it's a contributing factor to the negativity towards EM from the core of hip hop. They see the singles but not the album cuts. If all I ever herd from eminem was my name is, guilty conscience, real slim shady, the way I am, without me, superman, just lose it, crack a bottle, 3am, love the way you lie, not afraid, berserk, headlights, walk in water etc I wouldnt be a fan of eminem either. Not to say those songs are bad (even tho I wont listen to my name is real slim shady, without me, just lose it etc) you dont really get the full context of him as a person and artist with the major singles. And alot of artist are like that imo. Ppl just dont search around and listen to albums. Ppl really do skim through music. I have several friends that when they find an album or mixtape they literally click a song and hit their thumb to scroll through random sections of the song and it blows my mind. If 50 really pushed banks (although idk if he maybe tried alot behind the scenes, we never know) banks coulda been f---ing HUGE. h--- we seen what he did with beamer Benz or Bentley. And he had alot of other crazy songs on that album....ps and qs. Father time, take em to war, sooner or later. Bully on v6 is crazy too, check it out if you havent. Banks is amazing at multis. His rhyming is effortlessly delivered. He never seems out of his comfort zone. Hes in my personal favorite top 10.
Sep 3, 2019 I watched that video too haha. His mixtapes were f---ing fantastic. Banks is one of the most underrated rappers ever. Instead of making albums he just took the underground rout mainly and released a ton of mixtapes
