    now i wanna make one thing clear...i do think the song is good...i do thing the jabs are decent...but saying its "clever" and "brilliant' is different...i want to see those clever lines right now

    Y’all, Eminem wasn’t the first rap artist to diss someone because of their age lol. He doesn’t own the rights to every age reference on a diss track lol.

    Double entendres are cool when the references are clear. If you’re just forcing & reaching for s---, it’s lame. Who tf wants to keep a tab on rap genius open for incite on every other bar in a 4 min song? If double & triple entendres are the standard now, em’s earlier music sucks. That’s not what ever made him great lol it’s what he’s resorted to because that’s pretty much all he’s “good” at now.

    I never said clever.

    But I did like the parts about going back to recovery, about Em reading dictionaries and s---. I thought his flows, and the rhyme schemes/storytelling behind them were good lines.

    Story of Addidon is more disrespectful which is what ultimately gave Pusha the W. The bit about 40/his parents are brutal. Duppy is more clever & has better bars imo though. I think even Vince Staples said on Twitter he liked Drake’s track better.

    mostly middle school dropouts
    its not the standard and no one said they are
    its not something to "resort" to...its way harder to do than normal rapping, its what he feels he needs to do cuz he already achieved everythjing else
