Now he wants to take the high road, and say Em's diss was weak and he's 'not getting out of bed' for that. Bro, the bed you're laying in was paid for by your former boss. Budden would not have ate nearly the last decade if he wasn't associated with Shady.

But, I just don't see it.

I think Em will respond with lines here and there throughout his remaining projects of his careers. But I don't believe he's going to come back with a scathing diss track / unrelated to an album aimed at either of them.

All he said was 'we'll get to it', that implies it's not a priority right now, not something he's going to do right now. So I think us all expecting something to drop in days... and a whole diss song in general... I sincerely doubt it.

Because I don't believe Em actually cares about battling Joe Budden. I think Joe is right on that, that he ain't doing anything unless it's related to his album or money in some way. This isn't 2001 with Em establishing himself in the game and needing to prove he can diss; I think he was just very irritated and upset by the Revival reception and lashed out as he had no ideas left beyond that...

He knew this would blow up his album, or intended it to... but I don't believe he is actually now fuming at Budden's podcast or intending to write some scathing diss. I do think he just cares about being big, relevant and well received.

Maybe what gives me confidence is a few things that have came out with the produce saying there’s more, crooked I saying Ems got something to tell us, dj who kid saying Ems in the studio with the flame emoji and eyes, and porter saying Ems gonna pick up the planet and throw it at people, and everyone in his camp being really quiet. I just feel like expecting more whether it’s a diss or a second half or deluxe isn’t as much of a reach tthis time around.
