    Ah I wanted to like it but that sample and way the song is put together is so messy

    @Koolo i want to say I like the stepping stone beat. Classic Eminem style, it's just the composition of the song I don't like

    i was talking last night to a handful of rappers who have much higher opinions of em’s old work than i do and they were absolutely astonished at how bad this s--- was lol

    again, you’re more than welcome to disagree with me/other people. but this idea that i’m somehow being a rigid contrarian or whatever is, frankly, insane. what i wrote about revival was even sort of kind!

    The issue is Justin didn’t go in the studio with Em. Mike Will had the vocal hook from a session they did together and gave it to Em. Justin admitted that Em is one of the greatest in another tweet, but he couldn’t get down with f-- being used (people act like it’s the worst slur out now).

    After multiple listens this album isn't perfect by any means, but it's better than anything he's put out since TES and it's exactly what I want from Eminem. This completely proves he has just been overthinking every album he's released in the last ten years. This is the first album in a long time where instead of rhyming every syllable of every line he actually is putting together complete thoughts that make sense without over rhyming and ruining what he's trying to say.

    no he doesnt, there are multiple instances of samples used where ppl didnt know the content of it...example sia on beautiful pain where she asked to be removed...etc
