Oct 31, 2018 Yet he spends the track calling clay aikman a fa---- and standing adjacent to Jason This is my qualm with relapse era..great beats, often great hooks, and then f--- all subject matter where he's just like yipppeeee I'm rhyming again!!
Oct 31, 2018 Favorite part... "This is what you wanted your whole life Marshall, right ooh? Look at this house, look at these cars, they're so nice, wooo! Oh, but you didn't know fame has a price too That you're just now seeing the downside to Lose your best friend from highschool, your wife too Ain't even sure if your kids like you Come off tour, can't even sleep at night without NyQuil Become a Valium addict, start a rehab cycle But together we can break the cycle. Marshall." What! "No one's gonna love you like I do!"
Oct 31, 2018 You are referencing two lines from the song. He doesn’t spend the whole track doing that and honestly most of the song is on par with typical Eminem nonesense pre relapse era. Verse one could very easily have been pre relapse era espescially since the hook and beat are “king mathers era” lines like “rappers tryna play me they use hailie as a ukulele” sound very 06/07 Eminem where he was obsessed with a three year old dead beef. Honestly this song fits in with most of the rhyme heavy/punchline/goofy songs on TES and is of a similar quality. Better than the ones on Encore.
Oct 31, 2018 I love the song but I do have one problem with it. The devil or whatever it is is taunting Eminem, but his part is mostly just cursing at it. I wish he responded to the demon with a bit more than "f--- you, die son of a b----, leave the f--- alone" Although that could be on purpose because he has no more patience and is going crazy with the voice provoking him But the part where the both voices become the same is brilliant. One of eminems best.
Oct 31, 2018 I was about to send the song in the Eminem chat and comment how amazing it is. The song is f---ing incredible. It's crazy he made this and CYWF in 2007 when he was all drugged up.
Oct 31, 2018 Really? Didn't know it was 2007 when he made this, do you have a link? Dr. Dre's mixing during the relapse era is top notch. Everything after Relapse sounds less crisp and lower quality.
Nov 11, 2018 I f---ing hate his habit of leaving best tracks for bonus discs, or exclusives. Be Careful What You Wish for and My Darling are ones of his best songs ever. Should have been put on the regular Relapse, MD should have been the openner, instead of Dr. West Skit; BCWYWF would be perfect for the third, more serious section of the album, next to Beautiful and Deja Vu. Ridaz, in turn, is one of the funnest tracks from Recovery era and was left out as well, the f---? I bet if we got to know what tracks were removed from Kamikaze, our hair would go gray.
Nov 12, 2018 I feel like My Darling was the original intro, If you play Dr.West, at the end the alarm clock goes off and he wakes up, and at the beginning of My Darling, you can hear him waking up and yawning.. It flows perfectly and much better than 3am as the intro. The strange thing though is that the voice/flow/vibe sound like 06 em rather than relapse, it makes me question when it was recorded.
