    How is kendrick not mainstream lol, his past 3 albums have all been near or roped the charts, he's on bloody inters cope and he's got several Grammy awards.
    Being mainstream is being popular, not having a specific sound or style. This does result in similar sounds getting popular at the same time, but that doesn't mean that everything else isn't mainstream too

    I suppose I just disagree with the definition. Mainstream to me doesn't have to do with popularity per say. It's about the style of music that is being created that the majority of artists are using. More often than not, that means it is the most popular style, but you can deviate from that, get critical acclaim, and still not be mainstream.

    I feel like Kendrick did exactly that. Although, it might just be semantics at this point.

    Can someone pm the preorder stop breathing from rittz? I don't want to have the YouTube version, and I thought it was with the deluxe version and realized later it was a sm preorder exclusive

    Rittz charted pretty nice according to his IG. 9 overall. 2 in rap,independent and 3 in rnb. Pretty d--- good

    EDIT just checked billboards site. He's 19 on the top 200. Not sure of the graphic he typed was a typo or what. Still good though.

    Yep...And yeah I do. I like it better than Something Else, but probably not better than All 6's & 7's, K.O.D., Killer or Everready, and definitely not better than AP or Anghellic IMO.

    I would say that half of Special Effects is very dope. Other half is ok.

    I love all of it, its a better album than Special Effects, even though Special Effects has some brilliant songs like Worldly Angel.
