Agree with everything except I'll have to give it a few months to see if it's better than Vol. 1. The production is excellent on that album. I just got a new phone and reloaded it with my music and re listening to vol 1 it's actually a very high energy enjoyable album in my opinion. We are Free>>>>

Wifi is good. I like the verses and the beat is average but the hook is horrible but somewhat short so it's manageable.

Alright. I've listened to the whole thing. It's not awful, but I would definitely say weak beats and awful lyrics plague this album. There are some bright spots, but I would put this on the same level as Strangeulation 2 currently. Many more listens to go though.

Alright, I listened to it 3 times, so it's time for my rating.

01 - Godspeed - I really enjoy this song. Good intro. I like the autotune joke at the beginning. That "turn up!" part and then chopping in the verses, nice. 8/10

02 - Need Jesus - Poor production and I don't like the hook. I like the verses. 5.5/10

03 - Sriracha - Tech and Logic killed it, Joyner Lucas was aiiiight, but I feel like he tried too hard to out-rap himself. Terrible hook, but beat was really nice. 6/10

04 / 05 - Wifi (WeeFee) - I love that Hip-Hop Tech, beat was mad dope, flow was on point. One of the strongest songs on the album. 8.5/10

06 - Errbody But Me - Great b-----r, catchy hook, great verses with great flow. That's 10/10

07 - Get Off Me - Hypnotizing beat and flow kinda good, but it's a terrible song... Darrein Safron needs to go, for real. 2/10

08 - I Get It Now - That's classic Tech. 10/10

09 - Hold On Me - Kate Rose with another goodly hook. That jazzy beat, man, one of the best beats I've heard in Strange Music camp thus far. I like the topic and everything about this song. That's another 10/10

10 - Starting To Turn - Good flow, great hook, but kinda boring song. 7/10

11 - Poisoning The Well - That country vibe at the beginning, I was like WTF when I first heard it. Hook is pretty catchy and verses are mad nice. 8.5/10

12 - Buss Serves - Pretty catchy beat with boring verses, sounds like something from 2006, but it's boring song. 4/10

13 - No Runnin To Ya Mama - At first, I didn't like it, but it's much better after few spins. I'll give it 7.5/10

14 - Buddha - I don't like the topic of the song, but it's enjoyable track. 7.5/10

15 - No Gun Control - I love everything about that song. 10/10

16 - What If It Was Me - Another great track, 8.5/10

17 - Anywhere - Mr. Porter killed the beat, Marsha killed the hook and Tech killed the verses. I know it's another "they don't love me anymore" song from him, but it has to be the best one so far. It's my favorite song from the album. 10/10

18 - Til I'm Gone - Kinda reminds me "Believe" from "Something Else", I like this song, another strong track. 9/10

19 - The Needle - I don't like it. I feel Tech on it, but I don't like this. This telenovela-a----type melody in the background spooks me. 5/10

20 - The Long Way - Good, but boring song. 6.5/10

21 - Fuh What - That's Sickology 101 Tech, so I like it. 8/10

I think my overall favorite is the needle but like til I'm gone and poisoning the well too. Like the past 3 releases, this album lacks that one super addicting song you can't stop listening to like Red Nose on sickology or Fragile, etc.

I feel like I can't say s--- about an album's quality after one listen, but here's my take after one listen:
MEH.
Really lacked that energy and sense of being polyvalent that I felt Special Effects embodied pretty well. Some quality songsbut I just felt bored a lot of the time.

Tech needs to take 2-3 years off. stay the f--- away from seven. come with like a 16 track album. then retire.

By the way.....all this talk about getting sick and tired of Seven and asking for other outside producers.........

Why the f--- can't Mayday make Tech beats? They are in the same camp and could just pay them the same amount they do 7.......I mean all live instruments and all their beats they have made for Tech Are the f---ing s---. And they pull songs outta Tech like The Noose, Retrogression, Fragile, etc.....


The other thought I had while re listening to this twice in row, on my third now....is you know he is declining and getting worse with every album because when he was in his prime, everyone was bitching about how s-----y the cover was to Welcome To Strangeland.....

Now the fans are like 50/50 it sucks a--- or it's absolutely amazing.....

After listening some more I appreciate some of the individual tracks more, but the project as a whole just doesn't feel like it has a purpose. The album is eclectic but not more than any other Tech album; it's the same s--- again.

I can definitely say this album is better than Strangeulation 2. There's actually a decent chunk of the album I like, but as @Krazee D mentions, they just don't hit that level of classic on any of the songs for me. The closest song for me is Need Jesus. It reminds me a lot of Delusional where the beat just needs a little more attention and it would be perfect. The verses are incredible. I don't know why they cut Stevie's chorus short and then didn't repeat it at the end of the song. Probably gonna have to ask @Creation for help on that.

There's definitely some quality songs on this though. I think it will continue to grow on me.

The best songs are Poisoning the Well, Needle, and Til I'm Gone. I would put need Jesus in there but the beat needs some instruments added to it.
