The point I was trying to get across is your music can be unique or be rehashed. The content itself, while important, can vastly be dwarfed by the power of marketing. Marketing can make people like your product even if they didn't before and maybe it will net a sale.

I also think it's too early to judge the influence of Saffron. While I personally don't like his contribution to the songs I've heard, that doesn't mean there is no market for his sound or that other people don't like it. When his solo album comes out, we will definitely get a more definitive answer.

I get what you're saying.
However I highly doubt Safron's solo will sell at all really. Other Strange artists don't sell that well and that's with the support of Strange Music fans that simply buy and listen to it just because they're on Strange.
I'm assuming Safron isn't very well liked within the Strange Music fan base, so I bet his sales are even worse than the lowest selling guys on the roster.
What did his EP do compared to everyone else on Strange? Btw his EP is the only SM project I've never listened to lol.

I'd imagine the Strange Music fan base doesn't like him much either, which is why I think they need to market him to the fans that will buy his albums. I also think his EP sold absurdly low. Likely on the level of Big Scoob low, which I think is their worst selling artist (Or was before Safron).

Lol...Its more than just rapping "harder" Tech. There needs to be no "Fish in a Pita" type garbage filler songs in the first place.
How bout good songs? With better subject matter? And a good, creative hook for once. And beats not made by Seven. And non-s-----y features like Safron that automatically ruin the song.
