    It's extremely.... strange that Murs' album is the only album to get "hurt" by having another artist on the label release his album the same month. I wonder why they didn't just push everything back 1 month and give Murs his own...

    Edit: No pun intended.

    Ehh, wasn't there an interview where Tech said he'd of signed them if he had the money, but he didnt have the money? Not sure what to believe.

    i always wondered wtf happened to jay rock being a strange artist..
    then i realized kendrick was blowing up around that time and he must have decided to ditch strange and get back with/ride off kennys success
    which no shame in that since they tde anyways.. just sucks for tech imo

    tech put kendrick on without a doubt by letting him tour with strange right before he was signed .. shame kendrick don't show more love :khaled:

    na.. its the same reason jay rock left man.. you can't reach the level of mainstream kendrick was able to reach by being with strange

    i wish it wasn't that way but it is.. even as the biggest independent label, its not enough .. and kendrick would be sort of.. "forgotten"
    all artists on strange typically live beneath techs shadow.. i know its not really the case with rittz/murs because they already had a following and maybe even ces cru but you know what i mean

    i feel ces cru had huge potential before strange and right at the beginning of them getting signed.. but as time went on i feel they shouldn't be with strange

    in the eyes of fans yea, having kendrick and all of tde would have easily helped strange and we would see them as goat label

    but kendrick needed more and being associated with strange would have only held him down sadly .. he wouldn't be the kendrick we know now
    now he is HIS OWN artist you know what i mean.. I'm glad things turned out the way they did

    I disagree. Kendrick was hyped as s----d before Dre signed him. He had great buzz. with black hippy on strange they would of took the f--- over.

    And wtf has Dre or Interscope done for Kendrick? Kendrick uses in house producer's and has got 0 Dre beats. If they would of all stayed in the Strange lane s--- would of went through the roof at some point. Plus Indie make more b--- for there buck.

    Am I reaching or did this part mean Ab soul could be signing with strange? or even black hippy as a group? why would they have business with them other wise?

    A bit off topic, but does anyone know anything about the Trick Trick, Royce and Tech collab? I saw it being talked about back in 2013 but there's been nothing since.

    In the first link, there was a twitter conversation between the three which mentioned Tech sending a verse to Trick (and Royce said he murdered it, hence why I want to hear it so much)
    But you could be right. I can hope though. Techie the last tech Royce collab was only decent, I reckon something great could come from another one
