So I'm going to listen to the album through the day, but right now I've listened to all of the Cyphers and they're all great. Was really surprised by Stevie on Come Gangsta

I've listened to the whole album, and I'm sad to say I'm not a fan. The cyphers are great, but that's it. This album also has some of the worst hooks I've ever heard. I think it's very apt to call this album The Gates Mixed Plate Vol 2. Overall, it's a very weak album in my opinion.

With that out of the way, J.L really steps up on the two spots he gets, Brotha Lynch Hung isn't on the cypher again, and Big Scoob gets more verses on the album than Lynch, but isn't rapping anymore. Darrein can sing, I'll give him that, and I admit his verses on Real With Yourself actually surprised me. However, I still don't know how he's going to sell albums on Strange Music.

So I just finished the album and it's pretty meh.
Muah has one of the worst hooks I've heard, which is annoying cos I like the vibe of the rest of the song.

I like, other than the cyphers,
PBSA (even though I know a lot of people hate the hook I like it)
Push Start
Slow to me
Blunt and a Ho
Actin like you know
Torrid

Fired and Strange are okay too

Everything else isn't bad, it's just mediocre and forgettable

That's what I hate about it. The song is actually quite decent, maybe even good, but the hook makes it a trash song. It reminds me of Rock A Bye, where the verses were so on point, but the hook made it so difficult to listen to the song.

Well after further listens, IMO this is THE worst album Tech has ever released. It's equally bad or maybe even worse than the Mixed Plate. I couldn't finish nor cared to finish some of the songs and skipped through a lot of hooks it's THAT bad. I think that if you take the cyphers out (which are the redeeming qualities of this album) then it is worse than Mixed Plate. Laughable hooks, terrible singing, generic beats, lots of corny lines, etc. it didn't have that energy or "hard" appeal as Volume 1. It's a bunch of party bouncy type songs and the serious songs fall flat. h--- even Tech's flow sounds weird in a lot of songs. My inhibitions were right that this was gonna s---. Definitely rushed and will not be playing much other than the cyphers. Coming off of what I believe is one of tech's best albums (special effects) this is a MAJOR disappointment to me.

I really liked Praise KOD. it gave me the impression the album was going to be way different than what it is. as such it's my #1 favorite song on this album so far. rest will grow on me the most i listen.

Yeah this might be his worst album. Right up there with Gates Mixed Plate like others have said.
Seems like they put this together in like a week. Hooks are lazy and not good, production is very meh, might be my least favorite production for a Tech album.
Darrein Safron sucks. Ruins every song.
Muah might be Tech's worst song ever.
Cyphers are cool
Only songs Ill see myself playing down the road are Push Start, Praise KOD, Fired (although I dont like the hook}, Slow To Me, MMM & Torrid.
The rest is forgettable or terrible.

I don't even have a favorite song. This album sucks and is worst than Gates. I fee like Tech is gradually getting worse and worse since 2011.
