I feel awful for asking because I want to support these guys but I just shelled out $50 for that awful UFC PPV, does anyone have a link to this with the English commentary? I would just sign up to NJPW World but it's only the Japanese commentary

Disappointed Okada lost, but Tanahashi is a huge thing in Japan so I could see why. Match of the night was definitely Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kota Ibushi.

I had found a stream but it was really choppy and laggy so I never posted it. After getting frustrated by missing all of the cool spots, I turned it off after the Jarrett match. Just downloaded the event via torrent and am about to watch

Just watched the first hour of the show (first four matches) and man this stuff is incredible. I wish I had AXS so I could watch the NJPW show with English commentary that debuts in a few weeks

I watched the first hour last night but it was already past 3am and I was feeling myself slipping so I went to bed. From what I saw in the first hour, I enjoyed very much but it's very different then your typical WM card. Not only is the style so different but the psychology as well. The biggest difference is that NJPW contrary to the WWE does not waste any time with promos and video packages during the show, so in that first hour they got A LOT of the lower end matches out of the way. Short matches which could of been better but the Japanese wrestling business is very loyal to the veterans so they try to fit everybody on the card, hence the 6 mans, 8 mans. To be fair, some of these wrestlers have a following in Japan fanbase so they are in demand. All this mean is when the bigger matches come, they GET TIME!

    - IWGP Junior Tag Championship 4WAY Match:
Obviously this was a real good match (not the best), solid way to start ANY show, The Young Bucks and reDragon are the real deal when it comes to tag team wrestling, they are the best in the world. What's the competition? Miz/Mizdow and Usos? Not even close. I would of preferred a normal tag match but I understand the need to have all the best Jr. teams on the biggest card, although the 4Way brought this down a bit. (my rating: 3.5/5)

    - Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima & Tomoaki Honma vs. Jeff Jarrett, Bad Luck Fale & Yujiro Takahashi
Fun little match, not long at all just enough time to get everyone in for some action. Honma is very over supposedly, his headbutts are super over so he got the pin with a flying headbutt. (my rating: 1.5/5)

    - Toru Yano, Naomichi Marufuji [NOAH], Mikey Nicholls [NOAH] & Shane Haste [NOAH] vs. Takashi Iizuka, Shelton “X” Benjamin Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.
This one was even shorter then the last match, which is very disappointing because aside from Lizuka and Yano, the 4 other wrestlers could deliver. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, Marufuji is so good that he can be in one of the main events. Even though, still fun just because its part of the quick first hour of matches. (my rating: 1/5)

Special Single Match ~ Complete Conclusion Rules: Kazushi Sakuraba [FREE] vs. Minoru Suzuki [Pancrase MISSION] ~ No pin fall. Only KO, TKO, submission, or referee can stop the match.
This was a difference pace and rules, they got decent amount of time to tell a story, it was more of a s---t type match so they get points for variety. I am a big Minoru Suzuki fan, he just exudes heel and bad-a--- when he comes out, he's top 10 NJPW easy. (my rating: 3/5)

NEVER Openweight Championship Match: [5th Champion] Tomohiro Ishii vs. [Challenger] Togi Makabe

First real great match of the night, if you like strong style than this match has it for you. Lots of strikes and stiff moves which pretty much describes the meaning behind the title. Quite a lot of fighting spirit as well, but it worked well with the toughness of both wrestlers. (my rating: 4/5)

Really looking forward to the rest of the card, best is to come...

Just finished the tag title match, about to start the Styles match, this is incredible. WWE really dropped the ball with Gallows, he's big which they love and he can actually wrestle. I also just love the Bullet Club in general. Sadly if they were in WWE, they would probably job out to Cena in an 11 on 1 handicap match

Watched the entire show and its probably the best top to bottom show with high quality wrestling action, that I've seen in a while. How the card was setup match wise was genius and basically the common sense way to do it. Spread out a few good matches (early and middle show) but keep the real big matches for the last hour.

WGP Junior Heavyweight Championship Match: [69th Champion] Ryusuke Taguchi vs. [Challenger] Kenny Omega
Good match but not the best Jr. title match I've seen, the problem is that while Taguchi is good he lacks personality and presence. This is where Kenny Omega comes in, he's just flowing with charisma and is d--- good in the ring, he is probably the best Gaijin Junior heavyweight in NJPW right now. The fact he's part of the Bullet Club works in perfectly and he is going to singlehandedly save the Junior division. Omega has made Japan his home base and has been living there for quite a while, he speaks fluent Japanese so when he turns face he will be huge. (my rating: 3.5/5)

IWGP Tag Championship Match: [64th Champions] Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows vs. [Challengers / WTL 2014 Winners] Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata

I was not expecting to really get into this match but I think they got a total of 9 minutes and used every minute perfectly, with some solid tag wrestling to start but they finished strong and loved the finish. It shows that you don't need to have long matches to have good matches, its a matter of having good teams. Karl Anderson/Gallows team is a great combo and the other Japanese combo has a lot of potential too. Shibata is one of my new personal favorites, he will be the Ace of the company one day. (my rating: 3.75/5)

Special Single Match: Tetsuya Naito vs. AJ Styles

This was the first time I've seen Naito and he's good, really good but his look is kind of meh. This match has a tricky spot before the 2 big main events but they did a good job telling a story and match got better as it went on. The action was good enough for me to care about the match and who would win with no titles on the line. (my rating: 4/5)

IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match: [10th Champion] Shinsuke Nakamura vs. [Challenger] Kota Ibushi

What a great match, loved the young lion facing the dominating champion. Match of the night? To close to call with the main event. Nakamura is the #3 in NJPW and this is important because all his matches have heavy fan fare and that helps make his matches memorable. Ibushi has been the hottest prospect in Japan for years as Junior but this has been his audition as a heavyweight and he passed with flying colors. Must watch. (my rating: 5/5)

IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match: [61st Champion] Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. [Challenger / G1 CLIMAX 24 Winner] Kazuchika Okada

Another tremendous match, Tanahashi is the Cena of Japan but just much more superior in the ring, while Okada reminds me of Randy Orton of NJPW (lol). Everything you would want from a main event on your biggest show this match achieves. (my rating: 5/5)

I subscribed to NJPWWorld.com and now I am very pleased with my purchase since I am going to start watching all the live shows.

No but I read the results, unfortunately at the end of the day its the same old TNA and there mentality hasn't changed. By that I mean they're still trying to be the WWE in some shape or form and its proof with their roster, there is just too much former WWE talent when there is better talent out there. Then again, the talent out there doesn't want to go to TNA, they rather follow their WWE dreams or go make money in Japan. Also I fear that they're always trying to please the channel instead of finding their own identity, which is the reason SPIKE TV didn't need "a wrestling product" on their network anymore.

Tna is just horrible... not saying WWE isn't most nights, but.. TNA is god awful. Aries and Roode are carrying that company on their back.

Yeah I read the results and the show ended with a new heel stable being formed. Never change, TNA, never change.
