yea wtf ever did happen to Gordon's wife and kid. all this saw talk has me wanting to start from saw 1 and just go through all of them. I hope they make another one. Hoffman vs Gordon would be epic

it was awesome how they foreshadowed hoffman's involvement in saw III when he was pocketing evidence at the classroom bomb scene.

last of gordon's family was in the first movie when they were trying to get a hold of gordon who had that cell phone. after zep left to go k--- gordon in the bathroom

I hate how so many people think the saw movies are just 'traps with no story' and 'torture p--- and nothing else', so annoying..Most of the fans who stuck with the series stuck around for the story, the plot twists and stuff like that.

That's what I like most about saw is the storyline and all the plot twist. The traps are pretty awesome too because I just sit there and think what I would have done and tbh I don't think I have the balls to survive half the traps hahaha. Most people either love the series or hate it not to many in betweeners. The complexity of the series is unreal its still hard to comprehend half of it.

Here's a couple quotes I found from last October that give hope for a new movie, the first couple are from an interview with a couple of the producers.

'Now that they’ve made their own mark, they’re very comfortable to come back. We’re getting there. James and Leigh are absolutely going to put their mark on it.'

'Our goal is to go to Comic-Con, not next summer but the summer after [2016] with our heads up saying, ‘Here we go.’ James and Leigh are comfortable with the success they’ve had. And it’s time.'

James Wan doesn't seem quite as sure though.

'I’ve entertained the idea, but that’s more of a fantasy, I think. It’s a story Leigh and I really like and…who knows?'

I certainly want it to happen very badly but I'm not too confident unfortunately. I feel like both these guys can do whatever they want now since they've had a ton of success so they might just go with something that'll make them more money. If these quotes are accurate, hopefully we could get a tease or at least a confirmation around summer 2016.

@Kon Wan has said he desperately wants to go back to horror and is directing The Conjuring 2 right now. Could be his next thing after that film drops next year.

Sweet, sounds like 2016 could be a real possibility for when we start to get info and eventually a trailer. :emoji_thumbsup:

Just looked it up and conjuring 2 has a June 2016 release date. I think the earliest we could get a new saw is halloween 2016, but might even be 2017 if they plan on sticking with the halloween release dates.

I saw Saw 3 at the movies with this girl and thought she was crazy weird for suggesting that movie for a date... But I went because she convinced me I'd love it, and I wanted to smash...

Never watched a Saw movie past the first one. Was at the Saw III world premiere and walked the red carpet behind the band Static-X... Then walked out of the movie during the previews. Torture p--- isn't my thing.

@Zep off topic but I don't want to look 10 pages back to find the thread, did you watch the following series finale last night? If so what'd you think?

yeh i thought it was interesting that they decided to k--- theo off so sudden i thought it would of been cooler if they locked him up instead of killing him,i knew ryan wasnt dead when he fell into the river but they kinda copied the ending from dexter i think it was a pretty solid ending to a great series although it could of been done better (s3 ep10 should have ended it) what did you think ?

It's a lot more than torture p---. Very interesting and complex series.

@Zep not sure what the plot was meant to be. It got crammed into saw 7. I'll poke around cuz I think it was talked about in an interview at some point

Well I agree that season 3 episode 10 was the best episode, but I didn't mind it continuing for a bit after that cuz I thought Theo was a great bad guy too. I kinda figured all the bad guys would die and Ryan would survive but was hoping there'd be a surprise there and Daisy or Theo would survive, but oh well. I was pretty surprised when that FBI agent(forget her name) ended up being on the bad side, didn't see that coming..Good finale overall but not great imo..I'm sad the series is over though, I really liked it..They did kinda leave it open for it to continue but I doubt it will.

I hated that FBI agent so f---ing much,i dont know what it was about her i just hated her and i thought the finale cool when ryan was getting tortured its something new but i feel like we got an alternate ending (like what they did for s2) where if it got renewed for a new season i feel like maybe theo would have survived
