Nov 9, 2016 where is this jon cor stuff coming from? just cuz there is a character named ryan? Jon cor is the dude in the public trap with the 2 dudes and the chick sawed in half..
Nov 9, 2016 no idea, I was just responding to the point in @Kon 's post that he found on a Saw board. I'm just going by memory by saying jon cor played one of the public trap guys.
Jan 11, 2017 So I saw this teaser trailer on a saw board, almost positive it's fan made but they did a good job with it, also I'm not sure where the footage of the trap near the end is from? Anyways @35mm , any idea when we're getting something? Gotta think it's fairly soon.
Jan 15, 2017 totally fake.. the trap s from the tortured. I saw something back in october. thought it would be out by now. I have no idea now..
Jan 18, 2017 @Kon i just hope they don't try to over do it and keep it fairly simple. Looking forward to this. Heard this October is the release date ? Or is that just a rumor
Jan 18, 2017 I don't think any release date is confirmed yet but that seems to be the target, gotta assume they make it official in the near future if October is their plan. Should be getting something within a month or so I'd think/hope. Yeah I agree that over doing it could be a bad idea, real curious to see what the plot is cuz I think that will tell us a lot.
Jan 28, 2017 http://variety.com/2017/film/news/laura-vandervoort-hannah-anderson-saw-legacy-1201970058/ Yes october for the release date.. also it wasn't november it was shot in, was september to end of october..
Feb 11, 2017 Just a heads up, a lot of actors are starting to pop up here and there, and most of them are legit.
Feb 21, 2017 @rapmusik , I think it was you who told me saw 6 is one of the best ones and really underrated, watched it again a couple nights ago and holy s--- I definitely agree. I feel like the writing of the movie and the story itself were just so much better than a lot of the other saws, there wasn't really much if any s-----y acting either which can sometimes annoy me in saw movies. Also I'm a sucker for when the saw movies reveal more about previous movies or show stuff we hadn't seen that happened between other movies, etc. I completely forgot about Amanda being there the night Cecil pushed Jill causing the miscarriage, and the flashback showing how Hoffman blackmailed Amanda was great too. Hoffman was also such a badass leading up to and after the whole voice decoder thing lol, lots of great moments. Long story short I guess I'm trying to say, you're right. Saw 6 was the s--- and I definitely underrated it, it was the one I was probably the least familiar with but it's better than saw 4, 5 and 7 and possibly some others too.
May 12, 2017 So I haven't been really checking for saw news and this is apparently like 2 months old, but looks like the basic plot is out. I think I saw it once a while ago, but kinda forgot to mention it in here. Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade. Or has an apprentice picked up the mantle of Jigsaw, perhaps even someone inside the investigation? Sounds interesting, I don't think they'll try to bring John back to life (would be d--- near impossible if they're trying to be even semi-realistic) but they will have him in some new footage flashbacks likely with whoever this new apprentice ends up being, new character probably?? Maybe Jigsaw will have a new tape or 2 along the way as well. *edit* Sounds like Hoffman and Gordon won't be in it though which is pretty s-----y.
May 12, 2017 For casuals the appeal is more the creativity and brutality of the traps imo, for the hardcore fans that followed all/most of the series it's more about the storyline that intersects all the movies and is full of plot twists, flashbacks revealing more info, theories and stuff like that.
Jun 21, 2017 @Kon @35mm its called "JIGSAW" now Kind of happy about that since it's apparently separate from the actual saw franchise. Leaves the original series alone while potentially starting a new one
