Feb 14, 2017 from what i read online this is a new group made for the show, but don't quote me on that..
Feb 14, 2017 that's pretty stupid if it's true tbh. there's like hundreds of them all pointing their guns at their faces, so he smiles because he automatically assumes he can convince them to join him? flimsy.
Feb 14, 2017 was watching the talking dead and Greg nicotero said it.. He said he thought it was pretty obvious why.. I guess we will find out next week. The promo looks crazy..
Feb 14, 2017 fair enough. i'm hoping there's more to it though. they are in a zombie apocalypse, meeting other groups has often ended with their members of the group dying. Anyone in that situation wouldn't smile because there's a chance he can recruit them/use their guns. They'd be panicking because it's literally unknown what the other groups intentions are and they have guns pointed at their heads.
Feb 14, 2017 Yeah i have no idea where this is going because apparently the group is new for the show from what i heard.. I think Rick is a little too cocky and it get's him in to s---. Case in point the first episode. But it's good to see him not a little b---- anymore either.. They should find some middle ground..
Feb 15, 2017 Idk man, he looked like he had something cooking and got excited at the prospect of possibly getting these people to help him. He seemed like it hit him "yes! If we get these guys negan is f-----!"
Feb 16, 2017 I want to think it's the backup, possibly the amazon b------s lol. I dunno. They're definitely steering off the comics here. But yeah, like other people said, Rick's probably just happy to see weapons, and ready to win the over with his story about rocks f---ing up wagons and s---.
Feb 16, 2017 First thought was that Rick saw potential allies w/ this group & their weapons would help defeat the Saviours Could be a suicidal-like smile from Rick though lmao
Feb 17, 2017 This article is pretty funny to me lol Especially the Furious 7 part. I swear I thought the same thing atm. I even heard the song "See You Again" playing in my head, involuntary af.
Feb 18, 2017 Also, every time Ezekiel talks, I think of that episode of South Park where Token tries to live with the Lions in the zoo and they keep pulling pranks on him. He sounds just like them MFers.
Mar 18, 2017 I'm still watching it every week, but like others have mentioned the pacing is pretty bad. If they would just show multiple stories from multiple groups in each episode it would be better... but they're just building up to this war so slowly. We shouldn't have gaps of many episodes without Maggie and the hilltop, or a few in a row without Rick and Michonne, or the Kingdom. Just cover all the stories in each episode. I liked that guy in the Kingdom that died last ep. He died earlier than his comic counterpart
Mar 18, 2017 Eugene the goat. Glad Morgan flipped. Episodes need to pick up soon because it's getting to be a chore to sit through for sure. I missed one episode a few weeks back and I don't even think it mattered that much since I'm not lost or confused about what's happening
