Itll work really well when binge watching. This is an awesome time because we are experiencing it now. 3yrs from now when youngins are coming up talking bout "the negan episode" after watching wit their mommys on netflix. Its not the same. Apr 5, 2016 yeah but the show is shooting themselves in the foot here if its an important character, then he deserves a proper exit if it's a minor character, then wtf did we wait 6 months for? pointless so if its someone who matters, they need to waste the entire premiere backtracking to give them a proper send off. they can't just open with daryl or glenn's head bashed in and expect fans to think its cool especially since daryl or glenn had 0 lines basically in the finale idk. its a mess. yeah a cliffhanger could've worked -- but not the way they did it. if the finale built up both daryl and glenn as VERY possible deaths, and then didn't tell us, they could open with one of their heads bashed in next episode and have it be a brutal/iconic premiere. if they did that now it would feel undeserved

Apr 5, 2016 if i was in the writers room and they said "okay yeah so we cut to black right, and leave em guessing for a few months...then we come back and BAM! Eugene is dead, right there on the ground, with his skull bashed in" i would've just flipped all the tables over, flipped off the head writer, quit, and stormed out just horrible writing. but at this point Eugene is the best way to minimize the backlash. If it was someone like Aaron people would care even less and be even more pissed at the wait. If it was Abraham, it would be better I think but they probably have more use for him in the coming plotlines than Eugene. And they kind of set Eugene up for death during the finale, so either one makes sense. idk tho smh

Apr 5, 2016 Its about the survivors as a whole. They are the character. If one dies. The show doesnt stop. That was the end the story of the road to negan. Season 7 will be negan season It literally probably 20% matters if that on who gets the bat, the bat was to issue dominance. Anyone who died, will have the same result... ricks group works for negan now. Are you up to date with anything comic related or on any interviews? Its quite clear by now that showing the death was their motive. And they did. Thats where it ends because thats what makes season 7, season 7 and not 6... It completely changes the game when whoever dies, dies. Regardless of who. Thats what were going to be seeing. The reprocussions. My issue is that, once you live the moment. You cant go back. It happened. Thats my gripe rn. Seeing it on screen wont be the same now. But itll work out in the long run for twd, imho. You're in for a treat man. Jdm the goat. Idk if its just me (comic folk) but i actually liked the facial hair look lol. Looks rugged af
