Oct 25, 2016 I read the first 104 issues. I got them off TPB I believe. I haven't really READ the ones afterwards, but I've kept up with the story through summaries and s--- like that. Basically I read the comics up to the point the show is currently at lol.
Oct 25, 2016 Precisely why this is easily the most shocking episode yet. The group has never been beaten down and broken like this before. The Governor never had this kind of impact on the group before (in the show). Of course he did directly or indirectly k--- some of the group but he never left his mark quite the same way Negan just did in one episode. Governor was still an alright villain but they dropped the ball a little.
Oct 25, 2016 The feedback has been pretty mixed, which honestly I didn't expect. Everyone wanted this but I don't think anyone was ready, I don't think you could possibly be ready. This was one of the darkest hours of TV I've ever seen, s--- was worse than anything GOT threw out. We just watched a brutal physical beatdown of Glenn and Abe and then a brutal emotional beatdown of Rick. This was an utterly hopeless episode. But that's what was needed. This show needed an enemy that the whole world watching would HATE. And they just created one. 10/10 episode in terms of delivery, will never watch again tho it was just too much.
Oct 25, 2016 honestly i can understand the mixed feedback. It was a brutal and overly mind-f--- of an episode, and some people just cant deal with that. im normally fine with s--- like this but even i dont know if i can bring myself to watch it again. critique-wise in terms of acting, emotion, delivery etc its a 10/10 perfect episode and the best episode they have ever done. JDM and lincoln absolutely killed it. it was absolutely perfect for what they were trying to do with and to take the story where it needs to go
Oct 25, 2016 Fr dude, violent stuff I'm usually good with but once he started beating on Glenn I literally could not watch it I was so distraught. My roommate's GF started crying and my roommate just kept saying "nooooo"
Oct 25, 2016 the one question i have. AMC allowed that amount of sheer brutality but they arent OK with JDM using Negans trademark F-Bombing?
Oct 25, 2016 The Office is goat That episode was f-----, Glen's death was disturbing he left him alive so long I kinda wish everyone actually did die except Rick though, f--- Carl Walking Dead fell off hard we need to go back to just Rick roaming around stores and random locations looking for supplies and meeting insane people like the first season Later seasons feel like a soap opera
Oct 25, 2016 Tbh you know you've done something right when people are saying they quit cause they got so attached to the work you put it and then destroyed
Oct 25, 2016 The bad guy might've killed Glen and the ginger and be insane but he's so d--- charismatic and likable lmfao I like him. Rick's crew are assholes in someone elses perspective they kinda had this coming
Oct 25, 2016 it wasnt just the violence for me though. it was more the way they went about it. it was f---ing cold and heartless, straight up sadistic on so many levels.
Oct 25, 2016 For a lot of people it was the closets and oddly enough, realeast amount of evil they've ever seen, and I think that's why people are "quitting"
Oct 25, 2016 It already happened in the comics though Buff so they wanted to stay true I guess. I actually had a fan theory spoil the episode for me way before it was out earlier this year, can't be bothered searching on my phone but I'll link it later, they cheated by tampering with the trailer and predicted the deaths exactly.
