Last week, DJ Skee tweeted out that 2 artists were about to break the internet with a surprise mixtape.

DJ Esco tweeted this out on 8/17, so it seemed like Skee was refereing to a Drake/Future Album.

OB O'Brien posted a picture of potential cover art for the project, but it was quickly deleted.

Future was scheduled to perform Friday night at Ryerson, and brought Drake out.

A track list leaked with a Republic Records/Universal watermark.

DJ Skee took to twitter for an update, confirming the tape was still coming.

Drake had been dropping subtle hints about the project as recently as 2 weeks ago, posting this on his IG.

For those of you who don't know, Jim Joe is the artist who's handwriting is on the If You're Reading This It's Too Late cover. He tweeted this out not long after Drake's post.

So that Drake and Future countdown-to-mixtape website was a major and admittedly hilarious troll, and while it seems unlikely that we're getting the project tonight, Drake reportedly confirmed its existence during a performance in Atlanta this evening. In the middle of his set at the Music Midtown FestivalDrake reportedly told the crowd, "take a break from Views now it's back to that, and me and Future got a tape before that." He also reportedly added on, "Sunday will be madness." There you go.
