    You have a lot of praise for Young Thug, do you criticize him for basically being a reincarnated 06-08 Lil Wayne?

    he's not, though--he's definitely synthesized wayne and a few other people into his style, but his melodies, flows, and writing pov are all distinctly his own. he's innovated more than he's borrowed, by a long shot.

    Nope. He still sells very well and is super popular, so any real criticisms of his art are met only by "ur a h8rrr!!!" by all of his fans

    so no, it's not common knowledge yet. although it should be

    Really? I think you can come up with plenty of valid points against Drake, but I don't think you can say he doesn't have a style at all. We aren't talking Game or Travis Scott here.

    this mixtape isn't bad, it's good for what it is. i'm not the biggest Future fan but i can tolerate it. they both do mesh well together. wonder how Meek feels about one of his favorite rappers dissing him on here too.

    I mean...that's literally just the title of the song lol. We aren't going to pretend Started From the Bottom is anything like a Future song are we?

    I'm not as well versed in Thug's catalog as you, but he distinctly sounds like Wayne on Take Kare. And speaking to writing POV, he's said himself he wants to carry on the Carter legacy.

    808s is great, but I think Drake was able to take what Kanye had and make it his own. It's very similar to the credit you're giving Thug for innovating a sound largely influenced by Wayne.

    Are you saying that this album isn't going to be great for Future as well? He benefits from it just as much as Drake does, if not more.
