Bought this day one and have not stopped playing it. This game is f---ing awesome, and massive. I've been having a blast with it.

Haha I've done that a few times as well. It surprised me when I cut a guy in half for the first time lol. The decapitated head physics are great. If you're on an incline that head will roll and roll.

^while they aren't what was presented in 2013 the graphics incredible looking. This world is extremely detailed. I saw an article on kotaku about a peasant the author came across who was digging a hole and there was actually dirt on his shovel and when he threw it the dirt went and started forming a pile while the hole appeared deeper. That was only one npc out of thousands.

Yes, very true on the graphics. I remember preordering the game because the graphics looked amazing during the first screenshots.

In all though, through playing the game I've enjoyed it greatly! It's such a fun game and one you can get lost in so easily. It's similar to skyrim in terms of being able to easily get lost doing quest upon quest. The graphics aren't the best, I might give Skyrim the notch in terms of certain details of things but really, I'll take great gameplay any day.

Awesome purchase and a game I will continue to play for a while. I finally decided to go up against that d--- Griffin. It's been tough, think I died 5 times so far (playing on hard). I'll get him eventually lol.

if you haven't beaten the Griffin yet i'm, not sure you'll complete the game - in all honesty it's almost too big...you'll see once you beat the Griffin

I bought this on day one not knowing a thing about the game and I can not put it down. I'm actually playing right now, I don't play these types of games so there was a huge learning curve for me but once I got it, it has just been an absolute blast. Every singe quest has such depth and detail and the map is massive. If the game and all of its upcoming DLC stays this consistent, I can see this becoming one of my favorite games of all time.

@LasiK the dev said you don't need to play the first two to enjoy this. If you buy the physical copy there is a little booklet that gives you a quick rundown of the characters, races and the land and a little backstory.

I was running around playing gwent last night and I thought it would be cool if they had a way to just play gwent. Like an option from the menu that lets you pick any gwent player and play them immediately. For them to populate you have to have met them and talked to them in the game(outside of the gwent quests).
