i havent done either of the dlc quests yet but thats funny

i also use the nifgaardian deck.. i hit n----s with level 10 cards like no other

right now I'm 18/22 monster cards.. I've been trying to find more, the best way to get cards is to visit new towns and just beat the merchants and buy the cards that they sell.. i've beaten every single person i've come across so far and the monster deck is the last one i need before i can use it

really not a fan of the elf deck.. switching between combat and range seems kinda pointless atm

i really like the card game.. i love playing it.. kinda wish they made it multiplayer rofl

I love having 5-6 level ten cards in my hand and destroying ppl with them. I have a bunch of spies for that deck so I usually start with 1 or 2. Hit them with the spies, collect 4 cards, have them burn a couple then pass on the first round. Then it's absolute destruction the next two rounds. I haven't lost playing that way yet.

I've never used the elf deck either, not a big fan. My northern realms deck is actually better than my nilfgaardian deck but I don't have as many spies so I normally don't use that deck. Multiplayer gwent would be so awesome. h--- I'd settle for an actual gwent card game irl. Have it come with a board and and all the decks with optional card packs for sale.

Some sites were reporting that it was new cards but it ended up being new skins for existing cards so it's nothing special. I was hoping for a few new cards but oh well. Just read an article on kotaku that someone made a standalone mod for gwent that's multiplayer. Playing on Xbox one so that doesn't effect me but if you're playing on pc I'd check it out.

yea certain spells work really good on certain monsters.. every monster has a weakness and some are weak to particular magic

i used to never used the magic for the same reason… kinda overwhelmed.. but just select the igni spell (fire) and constantly use it in fights

every time my R2 charges up, i use the fire spell .. works really well on everything i've fought since they catch on fire.. leaves them open to attack

the crossbow, bombs and the other stuff… i literally never use

spam fire!!

I just finished that quest, my favourite so far. That baby-thing was creepy as f---.

And this is basically my combat tactic so far. Just random slashing and occasional igni spells

does this have a release date? i have barely been playing games lately, need to finish hearts of stone first. i'm on what i suspect is the last boss, the nightmare thing. i haven't played it in at least a month, probably more, but i remember being stuck on it.
