Gonna start a series of posts where I talk about a forgotten artist/group, their biggest hit(s) and their latest work. First, off the Ying Yang Twins. Everybody my age probably remembers them and hasn't thought about them since 2005. I was inspired to start this when I came across their platinum certified, and oft forgotten, album U.S.A. (United States of Atlanta) that my cousin bought and forgot at the height of their success. The ATL duo got into the spotlight piggy backed by Lil Jon on the song they're most remembered for:

Followed by a song that somehow made it's way to radio:

Passed that, they had several hits but nothing that stuck as much.
Here's an idea of how far they had fallen by just 2008. This is an official music video:

Anyway, here's their latest music. Be one of the lucky twelve people to hear it.

They most recently did some shows with Nelly. Oh and their Twitter is worse than your average struggle rapper.

Lmao @ that Sleigh Ride video.

Yeah the Ying Yang Twins were pretty huge for a minute there. Never really expected any longevity from them.

You forget their best song (imo).

I saw them in my college town about a year and a half ago. It cost $15 so I couldn't pass it up (they actually had to schedule a second show because the demand was so high, hahahaha). It was actually pretty fun (I was very drunk). I grinded on some girl I just met for like an hour and got liquor in my eye because they were spraying the audience with Patron, 6/10 would pay $15 to see washed up rappers again.

They also played for over an hour which was insane to me considering how few songs they have that people actually know.
