    gonna miss him

really strange seeing the bulls lose 3 in a row like that though with a healthy squad.. thibs was prolly just getting stale.

the way he gave his minutes out was definitely mooore than questionable

honestly, they did the right thing. horribly overrated coach--i know this point has been beaten into the ground, but i can't remember seeing a playoff team with such a woefully mismanaged rotation.

Thibs played his starters to death when he didnt need to. Great defensive coach but at times chicago looked like a D league team offensively. Not surprised, Bulls are known for doing s--- like this but they def needed a new look.

Thibs seemed to have lost his give a f--- this post season...

If you want to give him anything in years past its how he kept his teams afloat when Rose went down.

    He'll find another job...

Keep an eye on Fred Hoiberg from Iowa State as their next coach. He said he doesn't wanna leave, but money talks...

There was absolutely no reason why Tony Snell didn't get each and every minute Kirk got in the playoffs. It was time for a change. The roster improved, but Thibs never did.

Hoiberg had some great things to say, here's a couple of them from the Chicago Tribune: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/ct-fred-hoiberg-new-coach-20150602-story.html

Of the Bulls, Hoiberg said, "I love this roster. I love the versatility of the players, the different lineups we're going to be able to play." He later added, "A lot of coaches don't walk into a roster that has championship potential in a city that we know."

Of guard Derrick Rose, Hoiberg said, ""Derrick is a guy that's at his best when he's playing downhill. If we can get the wings out running and get that first big runner to the rim and get Derrick space in the fast break, that's going to be able to create a lot of opportunities."

Speaking about Jimmy Butler, Hoiberg said, "Jimmy's an attack player. If you can get him the ball on the run, on the move and attacking the basket with pace, it's an ideal system for him."

Kind of excited about the Hoiberg Era

Exactly!! And he never got McBuckets in the rotation, even when he was healthy. They traded 2 1st rounders for this guy and we only saw him in garbage time.

disrespectful. remember the stretch of games he played when jimmy was out towards the end of the season and snell was balling every game

Yup, as soon as Jimmy was healthy he gave him his usual 48 min allotment. Tony did everything he was suppose to do to earn PT, and in return he gets left out of the playoff rotation for Kirk freaking Hinrich.

kirk is f---ing less than useless. a waste of space on the court (this year at least). he was actually decent last season from what I remember.

was always puzzled as to why brooks wasn't brought off the bench before kirk..much more efficient and no matter how often that was proved, nothing ever changed

Yeah same here. For some reason Brooks' PT went down big time when the playoffs started. I hope they draft someone like Aaron Harrison. They need a big, athletic player to score off the bench.

Yeah with him, McBuckets, and Snell in the mix, I think they could definitely challenge for the East title. Obviously Rose needs to stay healthy and find some more consistency.
