    Very religious? Like there's one overtly religious song and that's Jesus Walks. Sure he references god and s--- a lot but I've never felt the College trilogy to be preachy. :wow2:

    808s is him going through turmoil with his mother passing away and his fiancee leaving him. g.d. not all the tracks are simpy either like Amazing or Street Lights. I guess you hate autotune?

    Ben I think you'd benefit from re-listening to these albums with an open mind. Some of the s--- Ye does is really pleasing to the ear.

    i legit relisten every year lol and i no about the mother part of 808s i just didnt care cuz i could never get past the sound. Believe ive given ye enough chances hes just awful to me. CD and LR may not a have alot songs on the topic of religion but the references are everywhere and it just seems like he tries to elevate himself to a god-like figure which just makes my eyes roll.

    You made me feel a little guilty until that last part. :') Fortunately I can't ever see him leaving.

    People criticise him for having an inconsistent year, then goes into beast mode the next. I'll back him making the AA team next year, seems like he makes it every 2nd year. But hopefully these on and off years stop. Although I can't blame our forwards this year, we've been efficient up there, we just struggle to deliver it to them.
