Mar 10, 2016 100% right. In fact, People lash out even more when given new information. It's like trying to tell them a significant part of their life has been a lie.
Mar 10, 2016 Most of you old heads that's been posting know I have a huge palette of artists I listen to. I was pushing people to check out TDE artists and Curren$y back on SL.
Mar 10, 2016 There is. And for people who don't like trap there is still tons of music out there if you look for it, sure. Hiphop is in a great place right now. Okay thanks bye
Mar 10, 2016 so we're on the same page except for you pushing that nonsensical "all "trap" sounds the same!" narrative. i feel like i have to put trap in quotes too every time i use it because people gave it such a narrow and negative connotation
Mar 10, 2016 don't get why ya'll mad at what flacko said... he's spot on when he says every mainstream trap rapper sounds the same. And a lot of them are oversaturating themselves. Like I love Future but if you were to pick some of his songs and put them in his other projects, it wouldn't change s--- With that being said, I think young thug is a lot more versatile than him. He seems to be a more complete artist so I don't see him as them other trap rappers.
Mar 10, 2016 Yes it does, so many people explain to you why you're wrong all the time and you dismiss them as trolls and continue you're ignorance
Mar 10, 2016 To be fair I said trap sounding music in my 1st post, I think lol. Not all trap sounds the same but mostly because of the creativity of the artist on it (example is thug). The beats do sound very similar to me and I don't know I prefer albums that have a more variety of production. I play the s--- out of 'trap' music tho, but mosly individual tracks along with other (hiphop) music
Mar 10, 2016 because there's a difference between saying specific artists are over saturating their brand and generalizing about a whole subgenre
