    After a few days, this came down to earth for me. Day for Day is the best song of all time, but then when he raps bars like

    I make that p---- feelin' like it's mac n' cheese

    that s--- is off-putting for me.

    HNDRXX and More Life are better top down to me, but this is up there with both of them.

    This isn't better than Hndrxx, don't gas it up. Totally different sounds too lol. I dig this tho, didn't think Kodak had this in him tbh.

    I still think HNDRXX is the best tape to come out this year but I'd have no problem putting this right behind it at #2.

    I never really liked Kodak. Y'all been posting here and there about "Paiting Pictures" so I listened to it earlier today and d--- man, it's amazing. I'm on my 3rd spin right now.

    Yeah, and the fact that the only reason he went back to jail is because he violated his parole.

    Hard to sympathize with someone who made their own bed, but it's really easy to like Kodak (when you ignorantly omit certain facts) so I admittedly cheer for him to get past all of this legal trouble and continue to make music.

    That's a good point though, hard not to look sideways at bars where he calls for sympathy when he's in jail for r---.

    I like this project so much, but there are moments on it that put it below Hndrxx (9/10) and above Culture (7.5/10). So I wouldn't call it AOTY, but it's in elite company. really surprised me with this one.

    The most off-putting thing to me is how he talks about how "they" want him in jail and s--- when one of his charges is sexual battery. I know he's referring to the drug charges and stuff but it kinda taints that for me knowing one of his charges is something he probably deserves to be in prison for.

    I'd rather hear about macaroni p---- or bald calliou p---- any day.
