    Your original comment t wasn't even about purely quality, it was about replay value which is outrageous. In a week if you're playing this Kendrick track more than "passionfruit" or "get it together," you need to go outside more lol

    This kind of contradicts itself, no? If you're saying that dancehall has been popular since the 90's but Americans have just been too "ignorant" to realize it, that must mean it must have not been all that popular. You have a lot of mainstream artist's today incorporating that dancehall sound in their music now. Much more so than there was like 3 years ago. It's been taking over the radio.

    He's not untouchable as he still catches negative flack but when's the last time a diss has made an rapper Irrelevant in this media age that's hard to do only way a rapper falls off or any musician is if they either stop with the music output or there music just isn't good a diss won't end someone's career in 2017 it's just not the same as back in the day

    neither rapper could 'end' the other lol tbh it would just be a senseless beef pointing out the obvious that kenny is a better rapper but drake makes the catchier hook

    I specified Americans because other countries have been hip to dancehall ...

    in addition artists like Sean Paul and Beanie Man, Vybz Kartel were the first artists to introduce dancehall to America ...Drake piggy backed off a style of music that he knew Americans' don't hear much of...but that doesn't mean it wasn't popular
