it seems more streaming deals are being done...and each one of these trying to sign up the biggest stars

so is this good or bad to the fans? how do you think albums will be effected by all of this?

    I pay for Spotify.
It's pretty cool imo. I discover new music because of the huge selection of playlists. I am able to save the music to play it offline and it doesn't need as much space as m4a's.
Spotify pays good money but the labels get 75% off the streams. so f--- the labels.

I think the album sales are obviously affected by streaming, but it's great for the fans. People can listen to music anywhere and have it all stored in Spotify or listen to Pandora radio. Me and a few friends are the only people I know who actually download music and put it in iTunes.

I like having my whole music library everywhere I go.. Its great for the users. I'm sure the artists aren't affected that much, they wont have to be homeless because of it. They still earn 100 times more than normal people.

I've been paying for Spotify since December now and I don't know why I didn't stream music earlier since I can have all my music on different devices. It's brilliant for discovering new music too!

Me too. Spotify is cool. Fiver a month is a fair price too.

Streaming will essentially make albums irrelevant over time.

I've been more than happy with Google Play All Access Music the past couple years.

I used to use spotify, but i just like having my music in iTunes, plus, spotify doesn't have certain songs.

I'm paying for iTunes match now, so if apple was to somehow incorporated that into their new streaming service... i'll probably pay for that too.

I'm not a fan but its the new wave and if Apple guest guest DJ's they will continue to dominate
