110% agree. Compton feels like something Dre suddenly whipped up and released just so people can be happy.

Really disappointing. It's just not something you expect from Dre, especially after waiting for so long.

    Chronic, 2001, and now....... this.

From a artistic standpoint gotta go with tpab.. But if we are talking about about replay value and what is the more enjoyable listen overall.. Gotta go with compton hands down.. Still love both tho

No matter what Dre released, it would never live up to the hype/his older albums. But most people love it so he did something right. I'm glad it was something different but still had a few songs with vintage Dre sound

IMO, the Kush song alone > anything on Compton. At least with Kush, it sounded like vintage Dre to a degree.

Tbh, I still want to hear what Detox would sound like. It's safe to say that it'd be miles ahead of Compton.

Compton is def more replayable to me, still. Haven't heard it in a month or so, so it's time to play it again :wayne2:

True altough I still play Darkside/Gone, Deep Water and Animals a lot. DsG is such a classic song (and Kendrick is great on it too)
