2014 was full of surprises. But nothing was more unsuspecting than the return of G-Unit. Since the groups inception, Tony Yayo has been the crew’s most vocal and diplomatic member. So before the arrival of The Beast Is G-Unit EP next year, The Talk Of New York chopped it up with Rap Radar at Engine Room Audio, about being the nucleus of G-Unit, allegiance, music, Queens, and everything else in between. Here we go now!

Tony Yayo sits down with Bryan "BDot" Miller of Rap Radar for a conversation at The Engine Room.
The Talk of New York speaks on Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent having similar personalities, the first time he spoke to Eminem on the phone, realizing that 50 is a music icon, being the glue that holds G-Unit together, girls flocking once the fame came, taking in the cities the group visits like a tourist, loving Amsterdam, Trav's loyalties shifting, paying for Max B's lawyer, French Montana, Yaris Sanchez, Fat Joe, Big Pun, loyalty being everything, Sha Money XL, Dr. Dre, growing up in Southside Jamaica, Queens, New York, Jimmy Henchman beef, Lodi Mack's death, Instagram, Supreme, 50 really being about that life, Banks being one of the best emcees in the game and more.

The Beauty of Ind. was a great comeback but they just didn't f---ing follow up with it. Lloyd Banks still has not dropped CC3, 50 is still pushing back SKI, and it's all just pissing me off.
