Oct 19, 2015 how are _you_ okay with being so close minded? according to you i am close minded because i dont like young thug, it seems like you cant even accept that some people dont like his raps, what he stands for or what he raps about. im an old head and ive been listening to rap since the 80s, dont come around here and claim that i am close minded. how old are you? you cant be older than 30
Oct 19, 2015 times change bro. music is changing and its your choice to accept it or not. its perfectly fine to not like thug but its really stupid to call him a nobody.
Oct 19, 2015 he is a nobody though. overseas nobody knows who he is. and yes, i agree that times change, i havent claimed that it doesnt, however times have been changing for the shittier
Oct 19, 2015 then riddle me this. how did he sell out most of his shows in the uk if nobody knows him overseas?
Oct 19, 2015 its not hard to sell out shows, theres indie artists who do it on the regular, dudes from midwest that have no mainstream attention. the question is.... did he sell out arenas as big as kanye, jay, em? no? i didnt think so
Oct 19, 2015 this vid is corny af. musicians are artists, not politicians. if they want to give their opinion on public issues, by all means do it, but it isnt an artists job to be a civil rights activist. dont get me wrong tupac is one of the greatest of all time, but addressing public issues isnt for everyone.
Oct 19, 2015 How is shi--ing on one of the most prolific artists alive with no room for debate being open minded? I don't care if you're an "old head." Every post you've made in this thread screams ignorance.
Oct 19, 2015 You just said Jamie xx, a London artist with thug on his album, was a nobody too You don't know what you're talking about. Just stop it. You're like 40, you should be too old to waste time sounding so stupid
Oct 19, 2015 thug - 23 years old kanye - 38 years old jay - 45 years old em - 43 years old see a trend? thug is a new artist and crazy young unlike all of the names you mentioned
Oct 19, 2015 yeah, i dont really know what you know but you oughta go and read up on the history of hip hop, how it was created and how it was used as a tool for black people in the nyc ghettos. read this book, hip hop is very much about politics. rap and hip hop has a definition, and young thug doesn't fit in that definition. call it whatever you want as long as its not rap, hip hop is meant to excel black people and help them, not bring them down and corrupt them with materialism.
Oct 19, 2015 one of the most prolific artists? holy h---, how did you become this delusional? do you seriously live in a bubble where you think that young thug has such an impact on hip hop? oh wow, i didnt think it was *this* bad, jesus fyi you can be open minded and still dislike certain artists, going by your logic i would be close minded for not liking, say, justin biebers raps. absurd
Oct 19, 2015 yes, i am very aware what prolific means, do you? wait, scrap that, you obviously dont lol
Oct 19, 2015 google.com, go google it kiddo the fact that you resorted to personal attacks just shows how mature you are. why am i even arguing with someone who cant stand up for his own opinion without resorting to personal attacks? foh
Oct 19, 2015 actually being open minded would be saying something like... I dont like Justin Bieber personally, but he is talented regardless.
