Jun 29, 2015 TPAB is definitely a good album, but it hasn't got nearly as many listens from me as GKMC did in a few months after its release. I still prefer tracks like Money Trees, Swimming Pool, Dying of Thirst, etc over TPAB's offerings.

Jun 29, 2015 People are blindly praisin TPAB for what it attempted to do, not realizing that it CAN be praised for its ambition but still fall short of executing it impeccably. Kendrick executes the album well enough, but there are a lot of area where he could've been more concise with his pseudo-deep bs and less bloated. Not to mention his weaknesses as a rapper are more prevalent on this album than even EP/OD TPAB is still a solid release, and I'd probably rate it around the same as section 80, but I would 10/10 rather listen to that or GKMC

Jun 29, 2015 How you rate it? 7/10, mostly for its message & album cohesiveness. TPAB literally has zero replay value. Maybe that's not what it was meant for. Kendrick ignores it at concerts, if that says anything. I personally haven't listened to TPAB since the first few weeks it was out, but still listen to his other projects regularly.
