Aug 13, 2015 YOU PROBABLY s--- FAT BALLS AND HAVE A MOUNTAIN DEW ADDICTION AND EVERYTIME YOU TRY TO QUIT YOU CRACK DOWN AND HAVE ONE BECAUSE YOU GET HEADACHES FROM NOT DRINKING THE MOUNTAIN DEW EVERYDAY JUST LIKE I GET HEADACHES WHEN I DON'T LISTEN TO TPAB MORE THAN TWICE A DAY
Aug 13, 2015 Hmmm let me reword that. I have a Kendrick playlist where I have most of his songs off his albums, and a few features and such. When a song from TBAP other than the 4 mentioned above I do not get the urge to listen to it. That's all. I love the album, I would just rather listen to it in one sitting.
Aug 13, 2015 Dont mean to be bad on here just had to much and enoying myself a night in IC with some old friends, don't ban me but delete what you wants mods and we can resolve this issue in the morning but but f--- u @Soldier
Aug 13, 2015 I've been saying this since TPAB dropped. The instrumentals are not for every one as they're very jazz oriented with a fusion of funk. If you don't enjoy this style of beats your going to find issues with it in terms of replay value. However that shouldn't take away the greatness of Kendricks lyrics. The content and messages within TPAB are as good as it gets in rap. I totally agree of it being a masterpiece. The ability for people to connect to the content and the beats are the only issues. But you can't deny how good the lyrics are. Anyway who doesn't like You Ain't Gotta Lie clearly has some issues. The tape overall is very 2pac and oukast esque in terms of sound as Kendrick is heavily influenced by them. To say it's not a great tape is ignorant just because you don't like the style of beats. Kendrick delivered and that's all what matters
Aug 14, 2015 I think the poem thing at the beginning of the songs are the worst part. I though they were great when this album first came out, not so much anymore
Aug 14, 2015 Still a big fan of it even though I haven't bumped it in a while. I will now though considering all this talk has got me excited again.
Aug 14, 2015 I mean... The album wouldn't really make much sense without the poem. It would just seem like a jumble of songs.
Aug 14, 2015 Its still a very good album but not as good as I thought initially. GKMC is definetly better & so is Section 80.
Aug 15, 2015 I think Madvillainy has no replay value but I consider it a classic. I listen to YG's album more than TPAB but it doesn't mean it is better than TPAB. It's just "easier".
