Jan 6, 2016 Oh look at that, the minute one semi negative thread comes about TPAB when its not being #1 on countless year end lists (That includes Pitchfork) the haters come out of the shadows. Shocker.
Jan 6, 2016 you're the one catching feelings over other people opinions you called it overrated because other people are calling it GOAT for legitimate reason... even though you're not familiar with other genres. So why are you even talking about something you don't know? Imagine Metal fans not familiar with hip hop saying Illmatic is overrated.
Jan 6, 2016 Look at what besky posted. No surprise here, every time an album is voted aoty by pitchfork readers, its also voted most overrated.
Jan 6, 2016 Will never happen, if you win aoty then you win most overrated, it has been like that since day 1 with pitchfork.
Jan 6, 2016 Besky for once shut the "haters" down. I mean s---, if the second coming Yeezus is in the same category....
Jan 6, 2016 what I came to post. It's the price to pay for having aoty. Pitchfork readers always vote for you in both categories
Jan 6, 2016 fine I listen to rock, metal, rap, pop, r&b and many types of electronic music but not to jazz or funk my opinion of course is irrelevant because of that, sorry that I even dared to post something about tpab, hope you will forgive me I really do
Jan 6, 2016 I think people & critics are over compensating the love for TPAB to make up for the fact that he was robbed in 2012-13 in favor of Macklemore. GKMC is by far the better project and it's not even close. TPAB will go down as one of the most overrated/disappointing albums of the decade.
Jan 6, 2016 sorry but I'm not overcompensating anything, tpab to me is twice as good as gkmc. But then again I grew up on jazz and funk and when I heard this album, it had some of the best jazz elements we have ever heard.
