Dec 6, 2015 Sorry for being too lazy with updating this. Tho im very glad to see that people are still writing in it from time to times tho i want to see pictures people! Recommend me your absolute favorite city im going somewhere in mars/april but im not sure yet where, got some places in mind but still not very sure. However since my last uptade ive been to some more places and i recommend ALL of them ive had so much fun. In July I went on a cruise to Estonia for my second time Cruises are cool cause theres crazy many people there and you are basically all on the same trip together so almost everyone are social and the city Tallin is cool very old influenced and very small but i like it Spoiler And as you can see in my op i once tried to get into nordkapp Europes most northern point but it was closed so we i didnt get to the top BUT in this summer we made try #2 we did a roadtrip through this route Spoiler We slept in the car except for one day when we rented a cabin near a huge mountain which i had to climb probably my favorite hobby after traveling Spoiler I definitely recommend everyone to someday do a roadtrip through Norway its f---ing beautiful Spoiler and we drove near the clouds which was pretty cool Spoiler Aaaand then finally we got to the top Spoiler: How you look after hours in a car with alcohol Then in the end of august i went to Saranda in Albania for a week Very cool city with great people and i love the fact that it hasnt become a typical tourist place yet so it isnt very crowdy and dirty, just very peaceful except for the nights Albanians def knows how to party But yeah its a beautiful city i recommend people to go there before its become a typical tourist place like Mallorca etc cause it def will Spoiler And i climbed a mountain there too, the right one Spoiler Got a cool view Spoiler And the nature there is beautiful too Spoiler Then in september I went hiking in the northern part of Sweden Spoiler Spoiler Its crazy that ive focused so much to travel outside of Sweden when I live in a country that has so many beautiful places Spoiler After that trip i decided that in the summer of 2017 I will hike from the top of Sweden down to the bottom Spoiler Then i went to Alanya in Turkey for my fifth time and my last time, not because its bad or anything but im just tired of it. but its like the mecca for us cold scandiavians during the autumn/winter and my grandparents lives there so it would be fun to visit them so i thought f--- it one last time and it didnt disappoint Spoiler Spoiler Then the week after my visit to Alanya I went to Edingburgh and Glasgow in Scotland Great people crazy friendly and the city is overall beautiful Spoiler Walter Scott's monument Spoiler Then when I were in Scotland i of course had to try some scotch whiskey so i went to the ''Scotch Whiskey Experience'' which was really cool, you get to go on a tour in a thing that looks like a whiskey bin and it drives you through screens that tells you the history of scotch whiskey and you get to see how its made Spoiler Then of course you get to try some sorts Spoiler I also got a guide through one 5 plus hotel and got to see the suits etc and also the room where J.K Rowling wrote one of the hp books if anyone is interested, tho someone had booked that room so we couldnt go in Spoiler And theres of course a lot of people that plays bagpipes on most of the streets to hold their tradition alive, its a cool thing Spoiler: prepare for sexy teeth And then I just had to go to Glasgow for a day to fulfill my old boy dream - visit the stadium that Henrik Larsson blessed for 7 years, Celtic Park Spoiler *goosebumps* Then when we got back to Sweden we landed in Stockholm so we said what the heck lets so to another place so we went on a cruise to Riga in Latvia which is like Tallin in Estoina very old influenced country Must point out that the people there are very friendly too Spoiler Their own statue of liberty Spoiler The trip i recommend the most out of these is probably Scotland, great and beautiful country with great people and the overall atmosphere is great. Hiking in the north of Sweden is also a must for anyone that loves traveling and new things Soooo how bout you, whats your favorite city/country?
Dec 22, 2015 Wanna go to the US but not before im 21. Which state/s do u recommend? and have u ever been outside of America?
Dec 22, 2015 yes ive been to europe and canada, as well. nyc and la are obvious picks for their cultural cache... same with dc/chicago/boston. personally, outside the cities, consider somewhere with great food + decent brewery scene. for me, i like to visit minor and major league baseball stadiums, so thats generally my approach to visiting various parts of the country
Dec 22, 2015 Its mostly leading to do some kind of roadtrip from Arizona and see Grand Canyon and then go to California and like spend the nights in the woods at Yosemite (dont know anything about your laws tho, is that illegal?like not in the camp just put up a tent in the middle of nowhere lol) then squeeze in La as the final destination. but i also wanna see Washington, New york. Las Vegas would be awesome too but ill prolly do the roadtrip first. Where were u in Europe?
Mar 29, 2016 Has anyone ever been to Morocco/Spain? Any recommendation on best ways to travel, things to see? @Jimelej @Jakey @Michael Myers
Mar 29, 2016 I'm not sure about the traveling because I only went to 1 city in Spain which was Barcelona and that was great. The gothic area and the architecture was quite an experience. Camp Nou if you're a sports fan as well. I heard the southern coast is really good as well with places like Seville and Granada, they're a fair distance away from Barcelona so may need to take a flight.
Mar 31, 2016 Ive only been to a small city called Nerja cause i got some relatives there. Its on the riviera, it was cool but nothing special. However, if we're talking about the major cities: Barcelona,Madrid or Valencia they're all highly appreciated by the ''regular tourist''( with that i mean, someone who isnt placed highest on maslow's hierarchy, like isnt looking for hiking/mountain climbing etc.) They all got the same great gastronomic scene and the architecture does its thing, however they are way different in each city, Barcelona for example got a more newer and colorful style since the Olympics took place there back in 92 and they had to adapt to its ''needs'' (tho ofc it still has a lot of its old architecture like the gothic area as jakey mentioned). Barcelona and Valencia can also offer some great beaches since its on the riviera (not sure tho how much you americans care for that lol). Thats all i know sooo you should check for yourself and see what looks more appealing to you, orrrr you can do what I try to do as much as possible - rent a car and go through most parts of the country. It's def the best way to travel imo about Morocco, dont know that much about it only that it is hard to found places that sells alcohol lol, not to say that that matters. I actually would go to Morocco instead of Spain, but thats just cause im tired of Europe and want to see something way waay different than from my last trips.
Mar 31, 2016 to update since the last time I did a roadtrip around the Baltic Sea (Sweden,Finland,Estonia,Latvia,Lithuania,Poland,Germany and Denmark) It was crazy to experience the contrast from standing in a cosy little ghetto in Lithuania and then be on the streets of big city as Berlin and to drive through the Autobahn was also a crazy experience. Spoiler Spoiler then i also went on a weekend to Belgrade just out of curiosity how it has been effected from the Yugoslavia war. And theyve done an amazing job to rebuilt it, some really cool buildings and boulevards. and i have to say ive never been to a more friendlier place, one of the f---ing hotel staff gave us the last money we needed for the taxi back to the airport from her own pocket, not that it was much but that would NEVER happen in a place such as Stockholm for example.
Mar 31, 2016 Maybe there's a different thread like this. Could of sworn i posted my countries traveled to... anyways i've been to: Egypt Dubai Qatar Afghanistan Canada Thailand Japan Korea Russia Going to Spain this year with my wife for our 1 year anniversary. EDIT: I REALLY want to go to Nepal.
Apr 1, 2016 Maybe it was in another occasion pretty sure i searched through the whole d--- site before i made this thread. I gotta say i envy u ive always wanted to go to Russia, which city were u in? And top 3 best countries of the ones uve been to? Japan and Dubai must have been crazy And congrats for celebrating one year with the wife, yall with have a great time!
Apr 1, 2016 Jimelej kind of covered Spain, and I've never been to Morocco. I went to Mallorca 3 times, it is a beautiful island and not really expensive. There are a few big clubs where guys like Afrojack come in the summer though. First time I went was to a place called Can Picafort, its on the North Side. The hotels are pretty good and it looks great there. I haven't really visited much besides the beach since I was 15 and didn't care about sightseeing. A lot of german, russian and english people there. 2nd time was with friends, and we went to a place called El Arenal (southwest). It is very close to Palma (the capital), a big city with lots of things to do. You can get there with a bus or taxi. In Arenal there are lots of clubs, pubs and bars, it's great if you want a 'going out' vacation. However, if you want to go there with your girlfriend/wife, I wouldn't go to the last one, since it's all about the nightlife. Mostly people age 18-25 who keep you up all night, in your own hotel but also on the streets and other hotels. Oh and a lot of dutch people lol. If you would like to see Palma etc. I would stay at a town near it that isn't filled with clubs and noisy idiots (except if you want that of course) Maybe not really helpful but this is what I can tell you about my experiences when I was at Mallorca
Apr 1, 2016 Italy: Pretty much a rite of passage for my family, we went during high school with my aunt and uncle. Food and culture was amazing and I lost my virginity there haha Spain Norway Canada Peru Colombia Jamaica Mexico
Apr 1, 2016 That's what you get when you're hustling in Hollywood and Highland, everybody thinks you're a scammer and nobody wants to buy your s---; even the good s--- that is out there is worth much more online then at Hollywood and Highland.
Apr 1, 2016 Croatia; probably my favorite. Lots of dope beaches, waterfalls (Plitvice), mountains to hike. Tons of cool old/ancient buildings, structures, etc. (Zagrebs hella interesting when it comes to that stuff). Dope country. Canada Mexico
Apr 2, 2016 I haven't been outside the U. S yet but I have plans in the future to do a lot of traveling
