Oct 18, 2016 p generic answer but for Spain i'd def say Barcelona, from what i've heard about it. have a friend that went there, said it has like everything, that you can't possibly be bored there. all sorts of beaches, stores, clubs, historic s---/museums/structures if u care bout that, restaurants, etc. seems like it's the place to go, center of like all things spain. somewhere i'd def go as for Portugal, Lisbon or Porto look like they got a shitton of interesting stuff.
Oct 21, 2016 Im from Barcelona. Go there! But in Spain u have so many different landscapes and cultures. The North has Basque Country, Asturias, Galicia... all green it feels like England and different languages, gastronomies architecture... South you have Andalucia, a little bit nore of the stereotypical Spain i guess. Great tapas, prices, weather, ppl are open... Granada is an amazing city btw. Madrid is cool i guess but havent been much there to tell. Valencia is a nice place also, smaller than Barcelona but also cheaper! And the list goes on i dont know man! about Portugal I heard Oporto is great yeah
Oct 21, 2016 Im living in Croatia right now! And yeah for such a small country it has a s--- ton of natural places to visit
Oct 21, 2016 yea there's like a countless nature stuff over there it's dope. hella unique too, worlds different from s--- i see in the states. crazy a--- hike trails, cool mountains, insane caves, lakes, again that Plitvice place, god tier beaches with like legit blue a--- clear water, typa beaches u see in like post cards. awesome country in general tbh
Oct 21, 2016 Portugal: Start: Porto: - Visit the city first. Its amazing and the people are 5*. Them proceed to Douro wine route (cruise ship). Its f---in beautiful; Obidos: - Medieval town and very nice in the winter because of the chocolate festival; Lisboa: - A very good city. Things like Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Castelo de S. Jorge, Alfama ( amazing place to have a meal because every restaurant have people singing fado.) Sintra: - The most beautiful city of Portugal. its something else. You need to go there to understand. Cascais: - Amazing coast line and nice seafood. Spain: Sevilha, Pamplona (San Fermín Festival), Barcelona and Madrid.

Oct 24, 2016 Haven't been out of country yet.. but I want to go to Ireland, I have cousins there. England is on my list as well EDIT : I've already posted in this thread it seems..lol
Oct 24, 2016 England. My dad is from there, half of his family is still there so I've been at least 10 times in 24 years. Went to Spain once as well, really need to get to more in the next few years.
Oct 24, 2016 Well about visiting, Sagrada Familia is probably the most known place (by Gaudí). In my opinion entering is not that worth it - unfortunately in Barcelona prices are quite high (we have a big gentrification and mass tourism problem btw). Anyway that's on you. Then Casa Batlló and Pedrera are also worth visiting (also by Gaudí) and Park Guell (by the same guy) and from there you have a nice view of the city. Then the old neighborhoods are all connected in the center - Born, Gotic, Raval, les Rambles, la Barceloneta... all the way down to the sea You have Montjuic mountain, with its Historic castle, the Art History Museum.. also in the center there is Picasso museum. And many more ofc. To go out at night, Razzmatazz and Apollo are two of the most known places to go - many foreigners and also students go there. In the middle of the week its cheaper btw. On the city center you have nice places also mostly for foreigners tbh. In the street you have pakistanis selling beer cans and samosas for cheap prices, also kebab places are everywhere. To eat.. well, tapas are not so typical in Catalunya but you can still eat them. There is Blai street full of bars to eat. Typical dishes in all Spain are tapas (croquettes, patatas bravas, calamares, etc), potato omelette (classic), paella, jamon, etc (in Catalunya the sandwiches have tomato spread on the bread, its traditional here). To drink; sangria, the beers are good (Estrella Galicia, Mortiz, Voll Damm..), cava (Catalan champange), kalimotxo (wine and coke)... i dont know there is a lot of stuff that i am probably not remembering now. The metro service is pretty good and the night bus also. Watch out, the pick pocketing is very common in the touristic areas.
Jan 23, 2017 I've visited: Australia, Africa, France, Denmark, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia & Dubai. Where i currently live is not included in the list.
